I think you know that it’s very disingenuous to imply the French defense industry produced more than a fraction of the Soviet and Russian Federation designs.
The Soviet Union is famous for churning out vast, vast quantities of designs, variants, prototypes and what have you. It’s just counter-factual to see other nations as remotely comparable.
I would like to ask if re-balancing a vehicle will also take a long time, since there are several dozens of vehicles that are waiting to be buffed or nerfed. For example, the T-80B and T-80U, or the T-72B twins.
If it costs you so much time to make some brand new vehicles, then it will be a nice option to devote some of your energy to fixing or balancing existing vehicles.
I think they’re in a weird space where camm is going to replace everything eventually but they’re still be using both side by side in the meantime as adoption is worked on. Both missiles are made by the same company and all that
I can’t speak to whatever Gaijin’s internal reasons are, but seems to me they just put whatever is ready. Seems to me they throw in whatever, whenever it’s ready and call it a day.
So as I see it, any lack is a lack of sufficient quality and quantity of evidence and nothing more.
MBDA may be one company, but it’s still pretty segmented, and i’m ready to bet the french aren’t going to abandon the aster for CAMM any time soon, especially considering there’s a fair margin to upgrade them still
I’m not gonna say that we are close to the number of vehicle Russia have tested/developped etc… I have no real idea of the real numbers.
But i’m also pretty sure that in the same way, you have no idea of the shiton of vehicle France worked on, sometimes just dozen of differents turrets on the same hulls etc…
The CTA40, a French British gun developed in France by a team of mostly French people where all the presentations made by the team are in French and not English. Truly a British gun
Now. Compare the quantity in the game to the quantity in reality. You will likely find Soviet/Russian designs are under-represented, because there’s a comical quantity of them. It dwarfs most other nations.
and?
japan doesnt have many vehicles to add left, and it still have more vehicles than many nations if the numbers is the only thing that youre worried about, counting ground and air forces france has like less than 150 while Sweden 100-110 or china has like 120-130, italy also has like 150-60.
if the numbers is the only thing that matters to you then those nations should actually get a sub tt or a second one to match japan.
