why would they polish the french tree when literally no other tech tree is polished?

My guy, as I see it, this coastal tree should have been added at the same time as the Bluewater fleet. Adding it is actually “finishing” the French naval tree as far as I’m concerned. So that’s always good to take. You know, as long as good decisions are made about this tech tree, most notably regarding missile boats for example.

benelux sub tree will suck up most of the vehicles this update
the rest will get an addition here and there but not a lot
Only the US and Russian trees resemble anything that can be called polished.
For everything else they just smear shit all over and maybe sprinkle some gold dust over.
eh yea they’re almost full trees but even those have holes

keep in mind most of those trees got ported over from a Warthunder predecessor
and in the later BRs gaijin simulated the cold war race to arms with these 2 trees alone
Yeah, Germany has much more vehicles than most other nations as well. There’s a reason why they’re called the Holy trinity.

I remember them being called the big 3 or the Major nations
but even that only mostly works for WWII and early cold war BRs
Considering the Dunkerque still has to be added. The Dupleix doesn’t resemble it’s IRL counterpart, the Suffren being the lead ship is missing in action, same with the La Galissonnière and Algérie as well. If the remaining Super Destroyers bring any meaningful change I’m unsure, but early cold war doesn’t really exist either.
The ships of the Suffren class being special as they’re all unique.

Fox 3 is the bigger addition for this update though.
Germany has the quantity, but lacks the quality and care that Gaijin puts into the other two. But you can say that Germany is what makes the big three.

I 100% on board with the f-18 being added but what makes you think the blurred spot is it? Also why is there even a blurred spot. If the leaker is leaking why isn’t he releasing all of it?
Well yeah, but that’s not unusual isn’t it. The Italian bluewater fleet suffered the same delays, waiting updates after updates for a new warship. They still do in a way, waiting for a Francesco Caracciolo class to get their big boy pants.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m waiting for the Dunkerque and the Algerie (and the freaking 203mm 1936 AP shell) as much as the next French main, and I would also like to see the Mogador or a Hardi class in there (it would be much better than filling the tech tree with British destroyers that should have been premiums or German War reparations), but as far as adding a coastal goes, I see this as a win.

I see it as an increase in workload by adding more things that they could have used the resources on to actually work on what’s currently in game.
Cant even critize the Russian TT in this game.
But critizing another TT is allowed.

Seeing as it’s a gameplay changing weapon at top tier with a couple new airframes that used them (some of them were even on the list) vs a bunch of US, british and German vehicles that are being added to the french tree.
It wouldn’t be the first time a sub tree or an entire tree was overshadowed by a new feature/weapon/rank being the focus of the update.
and perhaps some mechanic that isnt in the list
