Basically; if there are chances for an early EF airframe to come this update, I will go for the F-4F line… but if it will take any longer (September, November or December), then I would go for MiG-29G to enjoy some Russian bias, and then re-focus on the F-4F line, hahahah.
There’s a promising suggestion of a sub-tree for Israel featuring Chile for Ground/Air and even naval vehicles made by @Chilean_Thunder, there’s even a Helicopter subtree suggestion made by him so I strongly advice to give it a look.
It can also be Singapore, though it doesn’t have that much depth for earlier ranks, so there are some alternatives to boost Israel for the forseeable future, now it’s up to Gaijin to decide if it’s a priority.
F-4F ICE is likely for this update. So thats something at least.
But yeah. Im seriously doubting this update. Possibly September. October is usually a “minor” update but december is most likely as it would be a BIG update. (though euro-canards would get 2 seconds of the teaser)
Gaijin will keep Germany with MiG-29G as a good dogfighter and F-4F ICE as an AMRAAM bus, and, by December, the crown jewel, EF, will come, once the rest of the nations have more capable aircraft too.
Also I think a semi-reasonable chance of “late” Tornado IDSs this year or early next. If that is something you are intersted in. Would basically be Germanys only native CAS for quite a while
I mean, I hope too, but I do feel the overwhelming quantity of cope and cry the moment the Gripen was released means we will not see the EF released soon… There is little in active servce that is of comparison performance-wise to anything, say, America has.
Im guessing US and USSR will be on Typhoon equivalents like September and then the December update will be like 1 second of a Rafale taking off from a carrier. 1 second of a Typhoon taking off from a runway and then 2 minutes of an Su-24 bombing something and then shooting down the Typhoon and Rafale with ease
but what? the F-15E, the F-16C, heck even the Hornet/Rhino, nothing that America has will be in any reasonable metric comparable to an EF in the merge. Lordy knows what Russia will do (no doubt a Thrust Vectoring Flanker derivative of some sort that no one conveniently has documents about)
Was about to say a MiG-31 is gonna have a fun time, even in BVR, with anti bomber and awacs aircraft missiles, aircraft that are traditionally known for flying relatively straight, slow, and are unmanouevrable. Whereas say a Typhoon is not.
