yeah exactly army size has nothing to do with technology. In warthunder the military complex of the country is way more important
The way Germany and UK/France are depicted in WT makes it seem as a reversal of how things are IRL.
Germany makes a lot of cool vehicles, but so does France and the UK. Where the Leclerc is better in different areas to the Leopard, with the Leopard often being the better choice as the return on value is in the Leopards favor. The only serious issue the Leclerc has is a lack of hard/soft kill APS.

It’s quite easy predict if you aren’t a nationalistic french main.
It’s simple. The average casual main looks at random history documentaries and once they download the game they see Shermans, T-34s, Panthers and Tigers and they are “wow I saw these in XYZ, I want to play them”.
Or the fact that half of europe uses/used Shermans, Leopards, Centurions, Pattons etc.
You can keep on your nationalistic view of everything, but thinking that new casual players view it that way is pretty delusional.

Average internet people think Germany is the same glorious military power as in 1940, and they think the same of France, in the other way, so…
Also high tier French vehicle don’t use basic smoke (like actually in WT) but should act like defensive against laser/atgm and stuff.

but with the exports and prototypes germany has much more leopards/mbts which could get added to warthunder despite germany having the smaller army
From my head i can say we could add around 10 others Leclercs variants, without counting subVariants (like S1+).
Not saying we have more Leclercs to come than Germany, but if you say that we are close to the end of possible MBTs for us to add, its wrong.
(And oooh boy do’nt open the dark door of prototype/pre prod vehicle around coldwar/end of cold war we can have)
This is a nothing burger. France also has a lot of produced vehicles for domestic and export use, even prototypes waiting to be added.

Me looking at the list of IFVs the UK could get sad that because we arent germany, america, russia or sweden we wont see 90% of them

I’m trying to avoid being that. But the problem is still the same.
If Gain actually took the risk of showing some of France’s interesting vehicles, then our player base would likely increase. But as I keep saying a lot of attention is spent elsewhere so it’s the vicious repeating cycle.

This argument is going absolutely no where. I know Germany has a lot of vehicles that they can add, but that’s the only thing you’re focused on and not the entire problem itself.
Instead of seeing France as potential for cool vehicles, people just want more Germany.
Sure Germany have a lot to add.
But are you aware of the crazy number of vehicle France can add too ?
And the difference is for years Germany got 2/5 new vehicle per update, where France it’s more 1/2, and lot of time 0.
