well first of all, the challenger 2s would never have gotten fixed, we most likely would still only have the tornado F3 as our top fighter, it would also still have been bugged to hell with a preproduction radar when everything else is from the gulf war, the challenger 3TD would either never have come or come over weight since gaijin tried to sneak that one in

buddy i am serious, i explained the reasoning for it as well. its some time since that happend, i proved that the whole armor is mock up and it never realy happend and then the french backed off
here take the proof, whole freaking thread about it, was even from a rather known french guy here on the forums @MS_Phantasm

I asked for one, which I really don’t even want anymore. The only reason I did was because the Panzer 87 prototype had some connections to the Leclerc.
But in that time I’d say that there isn’t really any need for it. Having a copy paste Leopard 2 is the exact opposite of what I want.
There still are Swiss vehicles like the Mowag FL-20 or Trinity, then the Panzer 68 SAMM that France had an actual part in development. As well as the AMX Mk62 which was developed for Switzerland.

gonna be truthfull, thats the only reason i dont oppose dutch leos in french tree in the first place. Gajin would be better of adding EMBTs instead of the leos for france, would get france access to DM53 as well.

I’m just finding myself in a cycle of frustration. I would prefer that foreign vehicles go to where they’re most connected and are needed.
Admittedly France has a good deal to lose if Gaijin goes with that. While I’ve been planning on playing through Germany sooner than later, it would still be frustrating seeing French technology outside of it with no way of playing it there. While I also see something like the CV9035 as having no purpose in the French tree.
But BeNeLux might turn into Frances fifth air branch if Gaijin has at least thought it out beforehand.
