I mean even if culture agurment is weak there are other things.
Like Canada was there for the UK in its darkest hour. And I will point out that Canada didn’t need to join WW2 it could have joined the US in isolationism.
On top of that, most of Canada’s production problems during WW2 were because it built not just for itself but for the UK as well. Having to send the prototypes back and forth delayed a lot of things.
On top of that most of those “American” props Canada built were for the RAF.

True… but out of the 55 CW nations (not including SA because they are a Sub-TT and thus not strictly part of the CW-Sub-TT) India has significantly less day to day contact or military relationship to India. If britains only native aircraft or export aircraft are insuffecient, then surely something from Canada or Australia would at least fit better than a Indian Mig-21 (heck SA Cheatahs would be better)
