True… but out of the 55 CW nations (not including SA because they are a Sub-TT and thus not strictly part of the CW-Sub-TT) India has significantly less day to day contact or military relationship to India. If britains only native aircraft or export aircraft are insuffecient, then surely something from Canada or Australia would at least fit better than a Indian Mig-21 (heck SA Cheatahs would be better)

From what I found it’s often like the “Commonwealth Air Training Plan” evolved.
As Canada is home to many major NATO air training programs.
WW2 legacy can still be felt today in the role of nations.
On this topic, the Calgary International Airport is an ex-airfield of that plan. The major airport of a major city has relations to WW2.

As a F-35 fan, I find it offensive to use that name.
