Oh no, I’ve seen it being said, this was months ago when I was digging through the Russian forum for interesting ideas, but you’re correct, I shouldn’t make claims without proof.
Honestly i could believe it. Gaijin evaluates what they should do by always picking the dumbest possible decision, and this would track with that.

Anyone hoping for anything in this upcoming update? I’d like some mid tier U.S SPAA to fill the gaps
Sea Harrier FA2
Bomber Mosquitto (might finally be possible with the split BRs)
Top/high tier British IFV (something like AJAX)
6.0/7.0/9.0 SPAA for Britain (Personally I think id prefer a 9.0/9.3 because I rarely play the lower BRs these days)
HMS King George V / Prince of Wales or HMS Queen Elizabeth or HMS Rodney/Nelson (aka a decent 7.0 BB)
With the Split CMs coming as well, im hoping the Tornado gets some TLC at long last

Yeah… They really need to give every single nation a 10/10.3+ appropriate IFV. The fact that several nations have none is going beyond a joke now
Of course I’m always hoping for my beloved scimitar, but I’d love a British boxer variant. the LM UK CTA40 would be a better ifv than the ajax for one.
An IFV for Japan would be nice too, although there’s not a lot to pick from without pulling from thailand and pissing off the Russian & chinese playerbase and starting off a right mess. The type-16 based one would be fun though.
With Amraams coming I’d love a Sea harrier FA2.
Oh and a Wildcat helicopter would be fun.
If France gets a new IFV this update or the AMX-13-105 I would probably end up finishing grinding that tree.

The only problem would be the penetration is relatively low (3kg warhead, so not anything amazing probably around 300-400mm) with poor range (6km) so it can’t go too high, but its also got 20 of them and they’ve got a proxy fuse, and the Wildcat has a search radar that should easily lock onto both aircraft and the bigger tanks. Probably around 10.3/10.7 I imagine
Yeah, 10.3 would be fairly good. But should act as a decent CAP to support the Stormer
