Hi everyone, I’ve heard a lot of people talking about the Panther as a helicopter for France for the next update, do you think it’s likely? (knowing that an export equivalent exists in the Chinese tree)
I would hope the UK got the Hellcat at the same time since they seem to fulfil similar roles
I know it’s extremely unlikely to be this week. Next week is pretty much guaranteed to me tho since the patch is usually late May/early June there wouldn’t be enough time for the devblogs and devserver otherwise
The Wildcatt came better armed and more recent than the Panther, the first flew in 2009 while the other dates from 1985, in terms of armaments it is not the same thing either, the Panther carries a TOW/HOT missile while that the Wildcatt carries Martlets which are really very good missiles
On the other hand, they actually have the same role of transport and anti-submarine warfare.
the Marlets are going to be meh as they should have similar pen to the star streak

There 's nothing indicating that France would not get helicopters from that series, but at present there 's also no serious proof for when they would get them - next update or any other.

In itself there is nothing that prevents it from being added in the game, the flight model is already more or less implemented in the game and its armament would not really be extraordinary

Exactly. It might even be described as probably planned, there 's a large open space after the Alouette II which might be filled by them.
However, what we’re lacking is a serious indicator for the " when ", currently there 's nothing to say it would be more likely to appear this year than next, or any other theoretical timeline.

Still crazy to go back through that leak. Stuff from it is still being added even now, and then some of it is still missing. It just goes to show how far in advance Gaijin works on some content.
