A plane made by UK that was used for research purposes
I just went and goggled it, and now I know what it is.
still confuses me the heck when belgium would be wbetter
positive reception kek, did you ask the chinese about their opinion? xD
Does that already account for the fact that French vehicles go up more than necessary?
I guess if you rotate the French flag, it looks like the Netherlands flag
Well, there is the obvious:
Spoiler
The image originally shown here was likely the cause for an earlier flag.
It showed a comical depiction of a man and a woman stating their consent, which is promptly denied by an unrelated third party, here represented by Jesus.
On this image three flags were placed to represent the relevance to the subtree. The Japanese and Thai flags were representing the consent generally shown by both communities towards the subtree in question. A Chinese flag was placed on the third party, to symbolize their disapproval and consequent interference with said subtree.
This was in no way an insult, but a mere observation, showing that the only criticism this subtree receives comes from an unrelated party not present in the target audience of this part of the game. The format it was presented in was chosen as an easy to understand, lighthearted way of sharing this observation, and my negative opinion on the matter.
But even ignoring that this is a Thai subtree that really only Thai opinion should have a say in, the Chinese only take issue with a few Chinese export vehicles Thailand bought that China is still missing in game. The easy solution is just to give them to both instead of doing another KF51 KF41 situation.
KF41
KF41. 51 is the mbt and that ones resolved, germany gets the 130mm version hungary the 120mm one
Because the French stolen it from the Dutch since they don’t have any originality lol
does this variant even exist yet? I thought they wanted to build it on old büffel platforms. Both versions would still take years to get added into WT, but at least the 130mm version exists
My guy, the common denominator for a lot of these collaborative projects is that these partners conclude Germany is the one that is the problem.
Alpha Jet worked out because France was in charge of the whole project. Tornado worked out because UK was in charge of the whole project.
France’s Tiger had inevitably sold more than the German Tiger, so they did something right. Meanwhile Germany abandoned their Tigers now and ran straight to daddy America to buy Apaches instead of working on the Tiger Mk3 with their European fellows.
Now take a look at what Flame2512 posted regarding what the UK said about Germany on the Eurofighter project, constantly demanding Eurofighter uses weaker radars (APG-65) and the weaker Hornet engines until they relented on the current Eurofighter radar and engines. This was a big headache at the time.
Even then to this day, Germany remains a big headache to work with, with them promising not to be overly strict on their exports in 2022 in regards to Saudi Arabia, only to turn around and break that promise earlier this year in 2024 before ultimately relenting.
Even with the current FCAS project, there is still an issue on the exportability of the project that hasn’t been resolved on the project.
Thankfully the FCAS aircraft will be overseen by Dassault even though the workshare has been divided fairly equally among the partners.
france and britain bailed on the boxer project and it worked (although britain rejoined towards the end). France bailed on the europanzer project aswell. The leo 1 was way more succesful and the boxer is a success too.
Surely the devs wouldn’t actually believe it would be on par with the AMX 10 RC?
A variant of a French Tiger sold more (unless you’re trying to tell me that the ATGM-less variant was a an export hit…). Germany’s far more specialised, so no surprise there (same reason why Puma isn’t a market hit despite being superior to most if not all IFVs in a significant amount of technical aspects).

“I know you’re trying to save up money because you’re paying the cost of unifying with the East, but plss dood choose this engine that may or may not work out, also use this radar that you had no hand in creating plss”.
It sure feels good to leave out the context behind Germany’s decision, doesn’t it?

Thankfully MGCS is being overlooked by Germany.

Lmao what? Germany bought the Apache? Last I checked they haven’t yet decided on the successor, so you’re straight up lying.
i thought h145M was chosen?
this could be wrong but I remember seeing something about how germany claimed they would purchase 1000 units of the EFT to get more say during its development and when it was done they cancelled a large majority of their order
I can’t say much on the Europanzer project since I don’t know much about it. One thing about France though, if they leave a project they’re making their own domestic options rather than runnning to Daddy America and bolstering industries that benefit from Europe not being independent.
