yeah but then look at britain we have barely in the last 2 years gotten vic or planes that actually fill gaps or add anything to the tree the only things I can think of is the 2E and the Blacknight that both give britian some competitiveness but are still outclassed by most mbts
the issue is that some counselors dont like certain tech trees because of nationalism and bias, This was the case with China and Japan, even though they did not having a counselor It was another one who ended up making the whole armor of the type 10, basically leaving armor holes and making the hull armor reversed and upside down, Now ask how badly the chinese mains had it, i find some people good for the counselor job, gunjob for example but he is already a tech mod(for britain)

You have to stop using the US in the comparison with other air trees. They could add a single Service use aircraft per update to the research tree while being entirely new airframes for the foreseeable future. The UK is hamstrung by it’s poor political decisionmaking in the cold war. They don’t have unique service use aircraft to add. 6 variants of the harrier and tornado are not comparable to the Century series. Yes, they need more. No, they will NEVER get them at the same rate as the US tech tree.
