Unfortunately, the is no stopping C&P. “More nations in a tree, More C&P” Gaijin has shown this more times than not. For all TTs that could come, they all have plenty of vehicles but they all have areas that need C&P.
For Japan, they have no options that isn’t a land mine that’s C&P-less.
But all nations have some level of C&P. As we move closer to now the TTs in the game will have the same vehicle.
At the end of the day TT represents the “nation” not the “industry” with Gaijin wanting their game to be “Realistic” C&P is part of that it’s a vehicle the nation uses.
I dont think there is anything inherrently wrong with C&P stuff. So long as its necessary, the M109 really annoyed me because multiple of those nations could have gotten native 155mm SPH like the AS-90 or P2000. Its just really annoying when C&Ps replace stuff that wouldnt have been C&P
Id not be surprised if they both end up with the same radar, at least initially. Whether that was the Gripen radar on the FA2 or the Blue Vixen on the Gripen I dont know though.
Yeah… aircraft too… Trying to figure out what is a friendly F4 or a hostile F4 was nuts for the longest time. Why im kinda pissed the Gr7 is at 11.7 with no radar, you cant actually use the Aim-9Ms properly without massive risks of TKs like the AV-8B+ can.
Ive not done a huge amount of GSB yet, and avoided tank TKs so far, but yeah, they could do with doing something to help ID, had one match with a T-72 on our team and thankfully he was on the otherside of the map, but there was swearing from the other team about it and everytime I see the Indian T-80 I nearly shoot it. Some kind of IR strobe for Friendlys, at least at top tier could be great, but no idea about lower tiers
That excuse would work if it hadn’t been over two years since a French DF105 equivalent was promised, despite the fact that the DF105 is part French and thus should go to the French tree, yet we have yet to see anything. Gaijin is more than capable of filling every gap in every tech tree, but just doesn’t want to.
