on a british hull why not use a leopard hull? under no way should that go to germany they can get the gun on a leopard 3 whenever rheinmetal get around to showing it off

R-73s aren’t probably better. They are much better. Having thrust vectoring and being nigh unflareable within roughly 1.5km is certainly something.
That is exactly what I said about R-77s.
HMD coupled with R-73s is an incredibly powerful combo. Even if the F-4F ICE has it, only having AIM-9M/Li’s wouldn’t allowed for it to be fully utilised.
The flight performance is much better. Turn rate is not everything.

Trouble with something like the Chally 2 130mm is that its never been fielded for one military or another. From what I know of it, it was based off a Chally 2 tank broadly speaking, but was designed to demonstrate the 130mm gun. From what I know of the Gun, and a brief readup, it seems to be a private development, designed so that it can be fitted into the Franco-German project, but can also be retrofitted into western MBTs
Short answer: anyone could fit a 130mm gun if they rejigged the turret enough.

Same for the new game, interesting to see Germany as the 3rd nation for a modern game, make Germany looks like somehow the best military nation in the EU, or dunno what rewriting game company love to do this days. Boring to always see the same tri nations as if miltiary today was the same as in WW2.

I know people haven’t really picked up on it, but the Alpha Jets is a prime example, although I guess its historical? German one gets flares and the French one does not. Which imo is a fairly substantial disadvantage. Although I suppose on balance the French one gets a touch more ordnance… so…

They dont really, the armour is basically the same with swedens being better but german ones get a much better round
