I’m aware of how it works in game, which immediately blinds the missile before it is launched at all. DIRCM requires seeing and tracking a missile after its launch, in a similar fashion to hard-kill APS for ground vehicles. So right now it overperforms.

yes, and it also have target number limit, except it should also be able to blind optical tracking missile.
Currently, ircm is useless against most ir sams, iirc only the early chaparral and the strela(with the ir mode) are actually affected by them.
Yep, Smin said that they “don’t rule out other Romanian aircraft” in the Italian discord, when I asked him about his previous statement (“Romanian planes are already in the TT and more can come”) after Hungarian line dropped, though he also said that there is nothing to announce in this regard, other than the general expansion of the Hungarian line.

IMHO, they should have given Italy a Romanian air sub-TT and a Hungarian ground sub-TT.
Romania has lots of unique stuff.

Well we are where now but yea Romania is still part of that minor Axis group.
Speaking off I find strange how Slovakia isn’t part of this as it was a puppet of Germany.
and was a minor Axis nation. So by that rule they sould remove all of there stuff from the Soviet’s too the Italian tree

If i could get a penny everytime a mod said: “more of them will be coming in the future” - and then not getting anything for years… I would be rich right now.
Like, ofcourse more of them will be coming in the future, eventually everything will come to the game.
But i wouldn’t be surprised if it will take 4 years to see the first one coming.
Which means it will come, but the time it takes would make it obsolete because the issue is now and not in 3-4+ years.
Then ofcourse, some nations have been strugling with the same issue they had 4+ years ago.
Japan for instance is still lacking CAS, France is still lacking IFV’s, China is still missing lots of their unique made stuff and Italy was lacking air for over more then 4+ years.
There is one way to fix those issues and thats by giving the minor nations more then 2 vehicles per update - increasing the amount of vehicles added to the avarage addition of the big 3/4.
Muchmore for aviation than Hungary and a better spread between low- and high tier.
Much better than Hungary in both as well as naval (unless you count Austria-Hungaria) and some more heli mods.

I think if they added Romania to the Italians - Italy would be played more in their air area because of the interesting IAR planes (for the lower tiers as for the higher tiers).

The issue is that they don’t want to spend money on not popular enough models, maybe things will change a bit for Italy with the introduction of 2A7HU. In general yeah, for “minor” nations it’s always a lot of waiting for each step forward, unless C&P option exists.
