A more useful discussion would be about how unique would a new nation need to be to be worth grinding for you? Personally I’d grind a nation with one unique airframe per rank, but I might be in the minority there.
I grind a new nation regardless of tech as long it’s not a half nation. Half’s are a bad idea

I don’t really mind either way if you mean like Israel. The first three ranks weren’t going to be amazing so I don’t feel like I missed out. But they’re also so fast to grind through that if Gaijin had put them in I wouldn’t have minded.

Ranks I-III ground would’ve been very good for Israel, but unfortunately the aviation would be next to empty.
It’s really the lack of early aviation that made Gaijin exclude the early ranks, but ground took a bullet for it.
Quite sad and in my opinion not justified at all. It’s not that there is nothing, just very few aircraft. The decision that completely excluding early ranks over just having few aircraft makes no sense to me. This “solution” simply is making the issue much worse…

It’s especially one of the reasons why I’m such a fan of the Chilean sub-tree concept for Israel: not only would it represent a fairly interesting country, but it could also assist in the majority of Israel’s shortcomings. This would include things such as low tier supplements, more light vehicles for the ground vehicles, a more diverse tree overall (considering how poowater the Magach spam feels) and a good boon in naval capability.
I hope one day they will expand into Israeli lower tiers, but I am going to remain cautiously optimistic about it most.

Depends if you need unique in both air and ground.
Like the tree suggestions I’m working on only has licensed-built aircraft for most of it(and only a few ranks have domestic airframes) but the ground one it pairs to have unique stuff for every rank.
As for me, it’s mostly who it is for if I’d play it.
Israel only exists because someone was making Magachs (their favorite tank) on the company software in their free time and the boss found out about it and told them to put it to use.
