Yeah… a BeNeLux sub-TT wouldnt make sence for France IMHO. Not because they don’t belong there, but because France still has so much indiginous stuff left that havent been added yet.
Also, if the BeNeLux were to be independ. They could also add Surinamese and Congolese vehicles to them if they want to do a Taiwan/China situation.
Whatever game limitations/challenges they face for this type of system is unknown to me, they currently do not have a system where an external radar shares information with another vehicle. Currently, ground players suffer from inflexibility, if they want to deal with air, they have to die to change to an AA. It’s not a fun predicament and should be addressed as well.
My opinion is that these AA systems (Beyond SHORAD) should be placed off map. Immobile but long range weapons with a radar station always on.
The first thing Gaijin needs to do is start adding some French vehicles to France.
There are many gaps which could be easily filled with actual French vehicles.
Edit:
Just to give you an idea (some stuff cant be added):
About 2 years, no later than 3. But France currently lacks one in current day.
I’m not suggesting they don’t add more French vehicles. I’m already aware of the severe lack of implementations. The reason of the subtree would be to add more to France and have a nation represented.
As a ground rb CAS specialist i welcome this. The most rewarding thing in CAS is going into a head-on with an alert SPAA and finessing through their stream of fire and sniping them with a toss bomb from 500 meters.
So apparently the reason why the British Ajax IFV got delayed was because of concerns that “troop morale would be unduly lowered by common soldiers questioning the poor build quality of their equipment.”
