Initially it was supposed to only go to Germany, however the community pointed out it had zero relation to Germany other than it being in service with one of their neighbors, while the turret was of French design. The argument was that it actually had real relations to France over it simply being a case of geopolitics for it going in the German tree. Since the tank was already slated for Germany, that version stuck while Gaijin copied it over to the French tree.

I would say that I miss QEs more then the KGV. QEs and Revenges or Tennessee are more lacking since these should already be in game.
None of the vehicles in this month 's Passed to the Devs set have been leaked.
However, the H-39 project was mentioned in Q&A as an eventual counterpart to the Iowa and Yamato class battleships, since the Bismarck class are not considered to be sufficient for that task.

I would assume Lion would be the UKs counterpart since ya know 3 triple 16 inch turrets with a decent speed and armour should be comparable to Iowa

I don’t think the GB techtree will be receiving incomplete ships to compete in this area, they have more than enough competitive aircraft carriers to fill out the capital ship ranks past their completed BB 's.
the Lion is more legal by gaijins standards then H39 lmao so if we didnt get a counterpart it would be a massive double standard

The H-39 is implied to be coming as an end-of-battleship counter due to completed ships for that competition level not existing in it 's techtree, an issue which doesn’t exist for the RN:
So there 's little reason to believe that incomplete ships would be added, as there 's no need for them.
PUMA uses attica 3RD gen, also idk if ajax has a lot of armor but PUMA its a micro MBT pretty much in terms of armor

Like cool the UK could get some carrier they arent gonna be great in wt at the ranges you spawn at when you are already being shot at thus giving the need for a COMPARABLE BATTLESHIP

They had and will have ships to compete at Iowa 's level - they’re just not battleships.
The UK has the Lions (with potentially a Montana equivalent) as well as the G3 BC.
Do you really think that BBs and CVs would fill even remotely close role in battle for your argument to make sense?
I can´t see how the fact that both are capital ships is remotely relevant. And even then did Germany need Z-46 or Z-47? Did Italy need Etna, did USSR need Shcherbakov?

na apparently according to this guy we dont need them because we will have other “capital ship” just ya know they will be CVs with in 15km of battleships and getting shot at accurately on spawn
