once gaijin starts getting into more laid down and blueprint ships I wonder if we will ever see the 1947 Minotaur-class cruiser
would be really cool to see and would give britain a ship that could contend with the USS Helena for shier volume of 6inch fire

Because its American and America was the only country to ever use cannon armed versions?
yeah instead of 2 duel mk5 6 inch turrets she had 5 and instead of 3 duel 3inch mk6 AA turrets she has 8 with a bunch of 20mm as well
Having no other guns than the 3 and 6 inch on tiger hurts it a lot, but at least the guns you have are very capable, some 20mm’s would be nice
Sounds cool, but you know, its British, so not very likely.
if we do some math real quick a single broad side of its aa guns can put 360 rounds of 76mm HE-VT down range a minute not including the 6inch guns with their HE-VT would make one hell of an AA cruiser
Speaking of ships, I shall once again brought up the De Grasse 1955:
This should be the top brass CL as of how war thunder naval works. The shear number of twin 5" and bofors twin 57mm allows it to obliterate any destroyers and CLs alike. All comes HE-VT so they can also deal a hefty amount of parts damage onto CA.

Well the difference between the 14" and 16" UK shells will be just around 30mm in pen so I don´t really think that will make big difference and the KGV will have 2 rds/min while Nelsons will get 1.5 rds/min. And the KGV has thicker belt so I think it will be fine.
Only Lion with Mk. III will get significant pen advantage, the only way that UK doesn´t struggle is that they include Lion quite soon and/or rewrite the pen formula to accomodate better shell quality in case of UKs battleships.
Oh boi if thats ever the case do i have a lot of suggestions
again its why I said I wanna see the KGV class sooner rather then later
its the way naval is gonna go sooner or later, some nations will only have blueprint ships left cough cough the soviets
Oh sure this one I would suggest:
Troll warning
Yes, this is a yamato-class. I am very confident with sources to claim that a Japan bombed to the ground by allied bombers can produce another yamato-class ship, luckily surviving the war and was generous enough from the US to be given as a war reperation and surviving the civil war and getting refitted with soviet techs when the Sino-soviet relations are at an all-time low.
I love wargaming sometimes or the HMS Thunderer being made from the existence of a single 18inch gun not even a turret
I dont play WOWS, this thing came to mind because somehow China gets a yamato in WG universe. Anyways, I suppose war thunder wont come to such needs, since in the future like this year or so naval should take a turn towards the age of missiles after BIG7+ tier of battleships been introduced. After that the super battleships like iowa could then come in parallel with more DDGs. Sweden and China should also get a chance at naval then, well, Sweden could already get naval now.
i would very much rather they flesh out the trees more before jumping to trees that would be rather barren like china and sweden
Of course. Where dunkerque?
Also dont laugh at me for pre ordering duguay troin
Initially it was supposed to only go to Germany, however the community pointed out it had zero relation to Germany other than it being in service with one of their neighbors, while the turret was of French design. The argument was that it actually had real relations to France over it simply being a case of geopolitics for it going in the German tree. Since the tank was already slated for Germany, that version stuck while Gaijin copied it over to the French tree.
I mean if we get more powerful BBs then I see no reason not to. But I wouldn´t say that Mutsus 16" are on a new level compared to 15"s or others.
I would say that I miss QEs more then the KGV. QEs and Revenges or Tennessee are more lacking since these should already be in game.
