Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

I say Czechoslovakia is a good base for this tree, while Poland can be the sub.

Flagged for off topic

Rude

I’d take that to the bug/issue collection thread.

I’ll see if I can find it has is have been a long time since it was last used.

It’s not a bug though, it is intentional which is the sad part

hence they issue part as if it isn’t correct to real life it’s an issue. So here is said thread:

Frankly, I don’t agree with this. While the Rafale has some stealthy features, I struggle to see how it can be competitive to F-35s, the Su-57, and the J-20.

Btw do you know which engine does the Artic Tor M2 uses?

Its systems are already more advanced than that of the F-22, although on par with F-35 by using MAWS, LWS, AESA radar, 360 degree AESA jammers, and sensor fusion to combine all of those sensors. To my understanding, only the F-35 and Eurofighter competes in that respect. Rafale is significantly stealthier than the EF, and the Rafale F.5 is set to be delivered in 2027. The 2027 Rafale F.5 will have a new more advanced AESA radar (RBE2 XG) with MICA NG EM and MICA NG IR

MICA NG IR = 100km 50G TVC IR missile
MICA NG EM = 130km 50G TVC AESA radar missiles

They would complement the Meteors which already outranges AMRAAM and R-77s.

So already you’d have a late more advanced Rafale with more advanced missiles to come with it.

maybe SU75? (clear f35 wannabe)

Yup, really lazy work on this one…

Did you miss the announcement for the Hungarian Sub-tree?

J20 is stealth but Su57 isn’t.

they said the same for su57 until it was proven that literally the airframe is so badly done (cheap) that it can’t be considered remotely stealth against NATO radars

J20 is believed to be quite stealthy tho. Maybe the first production models not so much but latest and near future ones (that are being pumped out in high numbers) is considered to be fairly decent.

I have serious doubts as many aircraft and tanks are based on russian designs and so on, china has actually more money and yk. If they are maintained which I doubt again, maybe they are decent

The thing i found sad is when subTT become an excuse to give a c&p developed from another main nation already ingame, specially when its one of the “iconic big toy” this other nation developed.

If it was a top plane that we don’t have ingame, no problem.

But now we have F-16s everywhere, some F-15 and Mig everywhere, and now 3 nations have a Swedish Gripen when those nation themself have no link with that (outside the subTT, but thats an ingame reason, not an IRL one).

This lost more and more the “historical” war the game wanted to give long time ago.

It is what it is, but nations losing originality and things that make them different from other is just sad to me.

Tho its either “You are the best” or “You are far from being the best”, you can’t really evolve overnight over what america researched since 1960, so for china and russia its not about beating america, is just about keeping other poorer countries under their wing

Well chinese stuff isnt that unreliable anymore. Many Chinese equipment is nowadays comparable to NATO equipments.

No its not comparable tho they have actual electronics that can be compared with modern one, but you’re doubting the capability and researched technologies of nato that kept evolving since WW2, but russia and china had many crisis since then that were a mortal blow to their already inferior equipment
