Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

But Germany ain’t Britain

And German air has been shafted just as much as British air has.

Aside from the Swe Gripen C, ARH’s for all nations and likely some stuff here and there to carry them for those that don’t have it yet…I am expecting atleast one more rank 8 premium. Possibly more to capitalise on people wanting ARH’s as soon as possible.

Well we will see what they do for them

Thanks for those cool screens !

These textures hurt the eyes, hope to see it soon in a good shape on PC :p

the problem is that germany just doesnt have any jets that would make them competitive until the EFT same as the uk if we didnt get Gripen which like you said earlier we had a mig23mld counterpart fighting Mig29SMTs and F16Cs, the sad truth is germany is just gonna be stuff as an underdog for a few patches like sweden and the uk were for over a year

I’m referring to what German air has gone through since Supersonic. The MiG-19S and both MiG-29s were added after the Russian equivalents, the F-4F, MiG-21bis-SAU, and MiG-23MLA were added ages after the F-4E, MiG-21bis, and MiG-23MLD, and the first two were added after event versions.

Well it’s not like Germany is a powerfull air nation at this time, specially if it’s for making it alive only with Russian/US stuff.

That is completely beside the point.

It can be expanded through subnations
Like Benelux, Poland

No, it cannot.
Germany already has 5 lines and thus cannot get a sub-tree

As we have seen from british grippen, we dont need a line to add something

But it can get Swiss Hornet behind F-4F just like UK got Grippy behind the FGR.1

That shows absolutely nothing, because it is literally the only ZA plane in the UK air tree.
It’s honestly hard to even call that part of a sub-tree… very low bar you’re settin there.

Regardless, sub-trees as of now have exclusively been single lines in trees. This means that there is still no space for either air or ground to receive a sub-tree.

It cannot be argued that sub-tree could be added outside of this form, because it is not yet something we have seen on a sub-tree scale, only in single additions like the aforementioned Gripen.

Not a sub-tree

German tree is self-sufficient

Well technically he said “subnations” not “subtree”
Not sure why you are so hung up on the word “subtree” when they already clarified what they meant, not an entire subtree, just a singular vehicle to pad out the tree, exactly like the SA Gripen.

If you want to get into such technicalities then subnation is a wrong term also.

Benelux is not a nation, it’s not a people who identify themselves with the state of Benelux, partly because it doesn’t exist and partly because the several peoples within consider each other to be different.

Regardless, there is no reason to refer to single vehicle additions as anything “sub”, they’re just single additions and aren’t representative of anything, thus there is no speaking of anything “sub” anything else.

Again, I have no idea why you are so obsessed with the word “subtree”
They might have used the wrong word to refer to a “singular addition”, but you KNOW what they meant, especially after they brought up the SA Gripen
