Wait what? That’s not true right? It can try to calculate from the information the radar gave it before losing, but it doesn’t have a seeker itself right? That’s why the 120 is such a huge jump over the 7 because the 120 is the one with it’s own seeker head and the difference between fox 1 and fox 3 right??
Umm, the SARH has its own seeker… The seeker works like a reciver, but it is (in the 7M case) still a PD one , so if the relative speed is too small it will not be able to track.

Hoping for some more vehicles in the US TD and SPAA lines. I really want stuff like the M12 GMC and T77E1 MGMC added to the tech tree.
AIM-7 has a seeker and needs illumination from jet’s radar while AIM-120 has both seeker and radar to illuminate targets for itself.

The JAS39C is not the best aircraft; the Su-27S is, closely followed by the J-11, then the F-15J, and then after that is the JAS39C, and it took years for Britain to finally get something on par with other nations.

Comparing planes in a 1v1 context I think is a little disingenuous, given you are completely ignoring a lot of the avionics that make the planes shine. This is going to become more apparent as we start to see planes get burdened down with more gear and lose their early variant agility.
M4K slapped everybody, Gripen too in 1v1 in the devserver, dunno if it’s always the case or not.
But yeah nobody talk about it :(

what are everyones predictions for the upcoming update?
I think we might see the Japanes XF-2A and STA-4 with the STT.
Fox 3 perhaps, if not it’s for in 2 or 3 update.
