Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

That;'s a very different scenario. The F-22 wasn’t built exclusively to Austrian specifications or defense needs.

The F-5G-1 and early F-20 was designed specifically for use by Taiwan, but after export sales got vetoed, Northrop refined the design to use for the FX program created by President Carter in the early 80s. Taiwan again tried to purchase the F-20 (by this point closer to production standards), but it was again vetoed.

Yeah, misread sorry

(It is very early in the morning where I am)

I very much doubt that the second best MBT (unless you count all the Altay versions) would be a premium if it was being added as an independent nation.

since we know like literally nothing yet it could even be idk a turkish prem tree in the italian one

What do you mean it wouldn’t be a major?

That is true, however I was just talking about if Turkey is the next independent nation.

Oh that is true since they got a F-104 as well

let’s quickly forget about that possibility again
otherwise we gon have 3 parts of Turkey discussion here again

I think Pesto meant that this is too few vehicles for a major which is true but it’s also still 2 months to go

i would like to say “FRICK YEAH” for the F-2, but nah probably not really come out for the next major, AESA would “see” everything from the moment they take off.

The F-104S TAF is just an F-104S, which is Italian, that was used by Turkey, and the T129 is a variant of the A129, which is Italian, so there’s nothing saying that all Turkish vehicles will go to Italy, especially with the M60 AMBT being in the US tree.

That makes sense, and also he could have just not gotten a full list.

yk maybe gaijin doesn’t even have a full list yet

PD radars were at first added as standard pulse radars, so they could do similar with AESA radars.

they did do that to AESA Radar

friendly reminder that the ASRAD-R has been the first vehicle with AESA radar for what a year or two now

Oh shit.

Completely random, but what does the ‘TWMP’ in the T-90S Bhishma’s name mean?

Danke schön.
