It depends on Typhoon. If we are waiting 2 years for it, then yes, we will need a Gen 4 AMRAAM carrier, Gripen C or CF-18 are good choices, if its 6 months, then Id prefer to keep it where it is without AMRAAM

again, they fullfill different roles, grippen is a lower br fighter, not necesarily supposed as the amraam carrier
tell that germanys only plane F4F ICE which is DOA, and would be farmed by everyone
other way around Mig 29G is shafted, SMT would have the ability to carry fox 3
and would create the gap they just filled, they closed it for 1-2 updates and opened it again, seems like a dumb decision

The Chinese valour video showed a MiG-21 carrying R-27s, however this was more than likely just done for the video, like with the Turkish scout drone from the Turkish valour video.
When it comes to fox 3 Germany is more screwed then Britain

Unfortunately when IRL your airforce fell behind dramatically, you will fall behind in game too. The Italians got stuck with an F-104 at top tier for a while. I get you want something better but unless you manage to snag a time machine and convince Germany to buy Hornets Vipers or Eagles or something back in the 80s and 90s that’s just how it’ll be.

Trialed vehicles have been added before, and Germany has trialed F-16s, F-15s, and F/A-18s.

yeah, thats why germany is asking for a foreign solution like switz F/A 18, dutch F16, just like UK got a grippen

I don’t think UK needs to get screwed over, especially over creating a BR gap that can be filled later. Whatever is necessary to give Fox 3s to everyone. Unless, of course, Fox 3 update is June, then Sweden will get their Gripen C but still no Fox 3s since nobody have gotten them yet. This would give time for Gaijin to add other planes to fill the gap once they get moved up.
The Typhoon DA2 that many are asking for as the first Typhoon was 1994

UK can have other fox 3 carriers like tornado variants or sea harrier
Its not like the gripen is their only option
