u are honestly comparing fighter /interceptor with strike aircraft with limited defense capabilities?
not mentioning that they all have way more missles then the tornados ids (italian one would get aim 9l(i) as well) the planes u named all have more countermeasures as well while the current strike tornados have a gimped countermeasure number and no radar to possible slave the missle to.
The comparison of yours is realy bad when the capabilities are so different.
And italian ADV as well as the F-16 could have AIM9L(I) as well
that is if they add it as a sub tree, if its just 1 or 2 vehicles just to what ever tree is best for that vehicle.

Personally I think it could bolster Japan well, but it’s one of those weak “geographical” arguments
I find that Singapore went on it’s own path too much to really be considered an option for bolstering the UK. It’s why I think independent India would be best for them.
ZA has obvious British influence even in more modern vehicles, but they have so much modified and unique equipment on their own that I see little reason as to why they shouldn’t be independent.
My reasons for AU + CA + NZ is mainly because the three are still very connected and have a very shared history as well as military alliances.
See it as a CANZUK tree, just without UK.
Singapore could be added here and would actually make for an excellent boon in the higher ranks, where it could bolster the uniqueness by quite a bit, but they feel too different for me to properly include there. Still a better possibility than adding them to UK though.

Using our current rules multiple nations tree don’t exist unless sub-tree.
Because so far sub-trees are a ground thing first.
Canada with ANZAC sub-tree.
I would say the other way around if was air first.
India by itself in a Israel style tree.
This is why Im not overjoyed with the addition of sub tree’s, no matter where they go, people will complain. On the other hand you cant really add a full tree for each country.

Sub-trees are a fair concept, but the addition of them as single lines was a terrible mistake.
There are several concepts for what they could’ve looked like as tabs, I think any number of those would’ve been superior to what we have.

Yeah I agree it would be OP, so maybe put the commonwealth in the same tree, but split it in two?
Make it so you can either take only UK vehicles or Can, Aus, NZL etc
But playing one side you can choose to research the other, like helis with tanks
exactly, shouldnt be a sub tree but the nation should be spread where it makes sense

On one hand we have a “pseudo-Commonwealth”
With a Canadian tree given a Australian sub-tree. New Zealand comes with the Aussies as always assumed.
Give India a nation that doesn’t fit as well with the others it’s own tree.
I’m not to well versed in the others to comment.
I get why they added South Africa to the UK, but I feel like its kinda screwed us over more than its helped. Some nations really need sub-TTs to fill critical gaps in tech, but Britain just doesnt have those and by adding a full Sub-TT line in Britain, we now cant get a full light tank line and so many iconic British lights tanks have never appeared as a result.
Its a shame. ZA does look like they have quite a decent mix of stuff. I dont know if enough for a full TT, but certainly enough when bolstered with other african nations.

Eh, I find that things such as “African tree” concepts are poor and there aren’t really any other nations to properly combine an independent ZA with. Not like they’d need it though, I find they could work on their own.
Everyone is always talking about the AMRAAM and its equivalent R77, But what about the R27EA which is also an ARH missile. Does this missile not get added?
India either need to be its own tree or spread out between 5 other lol. If India does get its own tree, make sure to not give Pakistan or Bangladesh as a sub tree :)))

Lets be honest the U.K was just a test bed for sub tree idea…which they did terribly in my opinion

i dont think gaijin ever stated that the SA line means none of the UK light tanks are ever coming, its a weird idea thats been just kinda made up and i dont really hold much of a candle to it. i personally think things like FV107 (30mm and 76mm) will come and Ajax and maybe even things like the CTAS warrior, sure the SA line probably delayed them but not outright stopped them from being introduced
