Yeah but with HMD and HOBS missiles it would be kinda cracked still
F4F-ice has HMD I think
so wouldnt be the only one. and IR missiles can always change
Being less manoeuverable than the Python 4 does not mean that is doesn’t have great manoeuverability.
They can just get some high-end Kfir instead. MiG was only an export modernization package while Kfir series continued to be produced in many variants

P4 would be max 50G with single plane (as gaijin modells) so Derby would probably be around 30-35G
AIM-120A/B pull 35G btw AIM-120C+ around 30G
My estimate would be closer to 40g, however even 35g is better than the AIM-120C.

In smaller maps, AIM-7F/Ms can easily reach targets upwards of 20kms away. BVR becoming the norm would not alone change this.
