Block 20? They only had a couple of Block 1-5 for spare parts and stuff -not flyable-

I just want less wing flutter on my f16.
More likely the Yak-141 would, since it already has the loadout for R-77 in the files. The 29SMT I think will not, instead being restricted in A-A armament so that it 's A-G weapons are available from the Fulcrum platform at a more useful BR for Ground lineups*. Later MiG-29 's like the K or M/35 are more likely to be the MR-ARH ones imo.
*though we’ll have to see how the planned BR-seperation-by-gamemode affects plans regarding this.
It 's actually the other way around, by the time the F-16A ADF entered service in Italy they had already de-activated their stocks of SARH missiles( F-104S and Tornado F.3 no longer in service to need them ). They flew exclusively w/ AMRAAM, and have AIM-7 ingame only on the strength of technical possibility.
This was why Smin said other Italian F-16 's wouldn’t come last year iirc.
Though the Italy techtree hasn’t dried up it 's options for Falcon 's despite that, yet:

I’d guess (and hope) Gaijin plans to replace it with a Thai F-16A OCU.
This year actually seems like a subtree might be possible with way less denial than in previous years and thw suggestions for it finally passed last year.

If the Gripen was half a generation ahead of everything else and clearly not ready to be added, then yes I would actually be very happy with an F18
If you think Gripen is cracked now, wait till you see the Eurofighter/Rafale in action.

I don’t disregard that. Though the fact Gripen C came 3 months after F16C and arguably F16C is still equal to the Gripen C sets a bad precedent for the Typhoon. But still not the point
I would have preferred the Sea Harrier FA2. When It is added I will fly FA2 over the Gripen. Even if Gripen gets AMRAAM. It’s never been about “having something OP”
It’s about having something I have interest in.
Currently I fly the Tornado F3 when it’s 10.7 to 11.7 and when it’s 11.7 to 12.7 I fly the Sea Harrier or Gr1.
Maybe in March If/when we actually get the Gripen C, I might play it more, but right now it’s just a buggy mess and the nerfs just keep making it less and less fun
