We got a fair idea as they like the October update when they like to add new nations
I think Canadas CF-18 is more likely as they have a large TT presence than Australia have at the moment

That might not be too far off. adding the new nation research bouns with a new nation. That could have been why it was pushed back.
Using it as a way to get uninterested players to play the added nation.

Considering it says they won’t explode as a sphere anymore and be more direct it should be weaker.
Sure it won’t be the 7-8 shots AP/APDS takes but it won’t be the 1 shot anymore.

gunner /commander get effected by concussion just as much
when a fire starts there is less crew to put it out etc
