Watch them add ukraine to USSR “because they need a sub-TT”
and Czech with poland.
I wouldnt even be surprised.
And i bet they don’t even read this forum, but only the Russian one.
Since, if they read this forum, they would know how much we want more minor nation additions. Unlike the Russian forum, where they mostly (only) advocate for Russian (and Russian related) vehicles.
Proof:
The fun part of it all is, that they are complaining about Russian vehicles not being as good as NATO counterparts.
I also just read a post about Russian vehicles having “floating” br’s.
Someone else asked if the floating br’s (floating br’s = br difference according to loadout) were also for other nations like US, GE, etc… to which they answered: “no, currently only for Russian vehicles”.
Like… what more do i need to say about this forum…
That would mean we wouldnt be getting anything anymore. Look at how bare minor nations already are, if gaijin doesnt want to add more vehicles to minor nations, why would they add sub-TT’s?
Look at Hungary and Finland (2 out of 3 sub-TT’s) and they are all Russian vehicles. With 3 or 4 German ones, but almost NO unique vehicles.
The problem is we don’t have space for that unless we want more nations split up like how Canada is.
We only have room for at most three more sub-trees.
So yes more independent trees and they do have plenty of support.
But the most dissapointing thing of this whole topic is the fact that moderators (who work at the specific department) read our comments, and the things that are bothering us (and a very big majority of players), but that nothing happens and that they couldnt care less.
They say they care, but at the end of the day, no changes are made.
Since if they cared, there would be some explanation to why it currently is as it is. And perhaps some changes would be made.
Look on social media like: Youtube, Reddit, Twitch etc… and look at how much complaints there are regarding the neglect of minor nations and how hand-held the main three nations are. Especially complaints towards US CAS and Ru (everything).
Yet nothing is done with those complaints.
That really shows how much they care about a specific group of people.
Also, i’m wondering were all those pro-main three players are on the forums, since most conversations i read; are about people complaining towards the lack of vehicles, general additions, lack of mechanics and lack of historical penetration and armour minor nations have.
Hungary brought with it five Soviet (not Russian) vehicles from a total of eleven additions.
Alongside that we have four domestic products and only two German vehicles.
Finland is a worse offender of bringing eastern styled vehicles into a western tree, but Finland on release also came with an aviation sub-tree.
Fifteen ground vehicles.
Two of these additions were unique, seven were Soviet, three were German and three were British. This excluding premiums, but the T-26E would be another addition in the unique category.
For aviation they brought with them nine researchable aircraft. Two were American, two were German, one was Soviet (not Russian), three were British and one was Dutch.
This leaves us with two unique vehicles, eight Soviet (not Russian), five German, six British, two Americans and one Dutch vehicles.
Hardly “only ’Russian’ and a little German” if you ask me…
The majority of moderators and forum staff are volunteers, not actual colleagues of Gaijin.
They have next to no if any say in Gaijin’s decision making and you cannot cast any blame on them whatsoever.
I find that Gaijin isn’t open enough to make a good estimation on whether they are doing enough or intend to do things with said complaints and what their current plans for solving issues are. It’s hard to make a proper estimate.
What is clear is that not enough has been done until now, though I think that the overall value that sub-trees have brought to certain trees tends to get understated.
France was the main ally power in ww1, the main Ally commander was French it’s not because you make a lot of movie from US or UK pov that suddently it’s hide the fact than 75% of the front was hold by France alone for 4 years.
But we know well you love propaganda.
Like when you call your runaway with tails between legs at Dunkirk “the miracle of Dunkirk”, we all know you love to fight till the last Frenchmen.
I don’t see you that much be gratefull for Dunkirk or Bir Hakeim, where we saved you.
In my report, i sighted the Kubinka Tank museum as my evidence, as they claim it has the 1250 engine on their info panel, and considering that they actually work on, and operate the tank, I believe them to be a primary source on these matters.
Agreed, Finland on the ground part in particular has been done fairly dirty.
They have never really produced domestic hulls beyond some wheeled stuff like Pasi and AMV, but they do have some cool modifications like artillery variants of T-55s and T-34-85 with a gun taken from Pz.IV (P.S. 245).
Also things such as uparmoured captured vehicles.
The vehicles that were added sure did complement the existing Swedish vehicles, but overall it was disappointing to look at a trailer hyping (mostly) copy paste vehicles.
Not sure what vehicle you’re referring to on your last comment though.
