If F-15C comes with AMRAAMS, it’s going to have to come with the other Fox-3’s. And at that rate, they might as well go whole hog and give the USSR an Su-30SM or and Su-35 (Early). USSR will need the maneuverability (even if it’s barely enough) for EF and Rafaels. That probably means J-10C too.
If it’s going to come in the Gripen C for Sweden patch, I think what they should do is Swedish and Hungarian Gripen C, F4-F ICE (premium), Su-30M, A6E Swip (squadron), and F/A-18(ABC variant) US, UK, Germany (whatever versions most appropriate). That way Gripen is still the most maneuverable, but everyone else gets a bit of a sideways upgrade. If we go super-maneuverable, then we have to look at the above instead, and that’s probably the mid-year major patch at that rate.
Definitely. We’ll prob see the J35J (or S?) in a similar form as what became the J35XS. I recall a Swedish grey skin on it in the dev servee in December 2022 or something.

Yes, sorry, always viewed that as a variant of AIM-4 but definitely more of a run off.
Either way, gib AIM-4, Gib F-101/2/6 and gib AIM-26.
MiG-21S is kinda similar to an F-106 with 4x AIM-4 and a gun and I love the 21S.

Well the XF-2A never used them and AFAIK still can’t even with J/APG-1 and J/APG-2, so even an XF-2A with APG-68 would be limited to AIM-7Ms.

SU30 or SU35 is too strong unless they add F15E, mig29m is one of the best choices, 8*r77 or 6 KH29T, which is similar to F16C.
The antiship missiles have been delayed to conduct additional testing … well, atleast we can be sure the devteam cares to release new mechanics complete.
No idea what they’re going to come up w/ to make the Air mode, their About page says that the MiG-29 is planned though. W/ the rapid pace of development there, they might surpass our own level of aircraft too.

Again, that was assuming they add the EF and Rafael in the same patch as the F-15C. If so, Su-30SM is not too advanced, nor is the early Su-35’s. Su-27SM3 would be a good compromise too.
If they just add the F-15C with the Gripen C, Su-30M is fine. It’s the same missile capacity as the 15C, with multirole capability (Su-27 doesn’t have that), and it isn’t super maneuverable so it should be fairly equal to where we are now.
MiG-29M is niche, so is MiG-35. Flight models will continue to be garbage, and they won’t be able to carry enough.
Compared to Gripen C or Mirage 2k5F, Mig29m is still ok, 8 R77 is good enough, and its Flight model has been improved, especially at low speed.
Unless gaijin limits the loadout, The other nations excluding the United States, the Soviet Union and China would be at a disadvantage.
