This sort of… special forces exist everywhere;
I’ve seen Swedish players, after Strv 122s got DM53, claiming that Strv 122 should have a 5 second reload “because otherwise they were useless against the Abrams”…
I’ve seen American players claiming that “every Abrams after M1A1 included should have a 650mm KE hull” and that “the Abrams are the worst tanks in Top Tier, even SEPv3 being useless”…
I’ve seen Russian players claiming that “M1 and Leopard 2A4 were better than T-80BVM and T-90M”…
Etc.

You do remember correctly, but it was never specifically for a faction, it was a thread of cope that asked Leo’s to get 5s of reload (all of them) over alleged weakness of this ones
Heck if anything the strv122s getting dm53 only makes the 2a6Fin practically useless on a gameplay-lineup view

should the 2a8 come, sweden would be very likely to receive the 2a8 NO as well.
Besides that strv123a wouldnt be that much of a difference to the current swedish line up.

Arguably it should be an armor downgrade, since it changed to 2a7v armor.
Sweden receiving DM53 already for all tanks, and not just the coming ones, lessened the impact of the strv123a a lot.
Considering its nearly 3 years they are likely to get a new mbt as well, if gajin going around a new mbt round for everyone possible
