not one to play devils advocate but it is called the USSR tree in game. therefore Gaijin could use that as an excuse and say any of the former soviet bloc satellites are free game to be put there.
Spoiler
that being said Poland should definitely be its own tree as it would offer a higher chance for their unique domestic options to be added as TT vehicles and not locked behind and event or premium wall like what happened to pretty much most of the subtrees in game.
idk what in that statement can be taken with a grain of salt its quite direct in what it says
czech is in the same boat at poland and a few other nations where they currently just get shared around to whatever they are most relevant to while gaijin keeps their options open for subtrees or tech trees
Not quite, it was in response to the funky Leopard 2A8 post which isn’t even a thing yet. No real news has been made on Czechoslovakia yet so we’ll have to wait and see what they do with it in the future.
yes it is… They are the first new hulls in 34 years and are in active testing for service, same phase as Challenger 3 is in.
its not a subtree so shouldnt be pretended like it is one. All Czech and slovak vehicles being in the soviet tree is coincidental at the moment. This isnt a Australia situation where they didnt formally announce it so that abrams gatekeepers wouldnt have their heads explode either.
Still don’t get the logic behind that, Israel had enough for a basic low tier line and now it would have had even more with Grecce/Cyprus.
And yet it’s still not being considered?
Not to mention. why, should the subtrees be negatively impacted cause of how Israel was first implemented.
Before the subtrees were announced
There were some excuse gaijin could pull, such as “Israel as a state didn’t exist” could be a false memory of mine, but I remember it being brought up considering this subject.
Now though, with the implementation of the subtrees, it doesn’t really work.
Considering Greece is part of it now, and last I checked it did exist before 1947.
Even if the low tiers end up being mostly copypaste, it will basically be like china.
Having to grind though “the same but slightly different, but mostly still the same” for rank IV, V and early rank VI to get to the actually interesting and domestic Israeli stuff was already bad enough. No need to add more grind barriers like that in the form of rank I-III.
I would say that’s mainly a high tier issue, considering how fast you can grinding through the first 3 tiers, also I and plenty other players who enjoy low tier and have no real problem grinding through “the same but slightly different, but mostly still the same” vehicles especially if it’s vehicles you enjoy.
it still makes you spend (waste) time grinding through them, which makes it a barrier. Especially if it’s just some copy and paste stuff.
I’m not against copy paste, but they should at least be added with a reason instead of just adding because of the adding. Low tier Israel would absolutely be the latter.
Giving Israel tier 1-3 is a valid reason though. Lmao. One of the biggest complains people had about the tree was exactly that, it was missing half of the tiers.
Maybe rank 1-3 is a waste of your time because most players only care about top tier, but a lot of players including myself I believe that lower ranks are the best and not a waste of time, and even with rank,1-3 Israel will remain the smallest in rp nation so it’s not that big of a setback
So just play the same vehicles already in game?? They almost all already exist in game so why are you specifically waiting for an Israeli version to play them?
