It’s not. They have differences
And that photo shows the 2a7+ most clearly from yk 2a7+ is export and the frontal armour what used mexas.
But your very own image states that it’s a PSO demonstrator hull…
Regardless, as I said, EMBT’s hull can perfectly be a repurposed and upgraded PSO hull into 2A7x standards, the same way the PSO hull was a repurposed 2A6EX hull itself.
It appears they’ve been using the same 2-3 tanks to create demonstrators for the past 20 years, a good way to recycle them!
In all honesty idk what any of this is meant to mean lmao. The PSO demo and 2a6EX demo 2 were identical. Just added the modular kit onto demo 2 and sent it to export shows. It was still a 2a6, it was never even upgraded close to 2a7v/+ as the tanks didn’t exist at the time
You… take things QUITE literally down to the minimal detail, don’t you?
Not the PSO your thinking tho. It used the “PSO VT” what is the 2a7+ in its urban ops kit. Should of specified that’s my bad.
No lmao the 2a6EX was likely scrapped/turned back into 2a6 in demo 1s case after it’s exports stopped after 2011 ish area. It was replaced by 2a7+
Gaijin reading that:

Careful with that claim.
There is nothing to actualy back that up.
U mean besides the fact Shard only recently finished development and the french only actualy ordered it now?
Uh, Lanz-Odermatt formula, which is the method used by Gaijin to implement shells.
I always pictured it on the 710mm KE range, and it’s probably more than 640 IRL because modern APFSDS include design features that go beyond the simplified aspects of that formula, but… that would apply to many, many shells already ingame.
With what data.
Cause pixel counting a supposed Inflight penetrator pictures is not accepted anywhere

The creator used DM53’s penetrator length as a reference, which is what Gaijin would probably use as a lowballed estimate, as they always do.
With more generous estimates, it does reach 690-710mm pen values, but I REALLY doubt Gaijin would ditch a sensibly lowballed estimate over a hypothetically generous one.
For example, L27A1 and DTC-10-125 are both too short.

Hey, those are really great!
Oh, it is another poll that was NOT reviewed by a native speaker. It says do you want the ability, not a fixed update.
I want the ability but absolutely will not use historical markings as they are huge
Would you like to have the ability to select the historical marker icons in all game modes?
Weres the Issue?
Just the ability as in: hey here we have the new historical marker, but you can also continue using the old WT markers if you want
It can be understood as “do you want this change”. Just like the aphe test thing.
There should be a few sentences saying WE ARE NOT PERMANENTLY CHANGING below, in bold and capital
So completly useless since it does not mention penetrator length, diameter and so on anywhere.
There is no estimated mentions anywhere or where they have been made from
Its only a hazardly created chart?
There are only 2 options:
1- Gaijin never implements SHARD.
2- Gaijin implements SHARD with the lowest possible estimates and values.
This chart represents Gaijin’s likely implementation. Sure, we can measure it, prove it to be 15cm longer and therefore penetrate around 700mm, but Gaijin isn’t going to roll with that when they can estimate it to be more akin to DM53 in length.
On hand of what? You cant just trust a chart thats been made without you being aware of anything.
For all we know its a faked one.
so you have no clue
you know that in nuclear thunder you could choose between the normal WT icons and the NATO/ soviet ones
Fine, alright, okay, Gaijin will SURELY implement a 775mm length and give it a 720mm pen value.
Gaijin is notoriously generous with shell implementations, specially L27A1 and DTC-10-125, which are DEFINITELY not shorter ingame than they’ve been proven to be.
We can always count on them selecting the length that will benefit the shell the most :D
Thats my point me stating Shard has a penetration of 600mm would have as much proof as your chart.
We might learn more once it is officialy put into french service. But currently its implementation doesnt make much sense.
For the same reason DM83 doesnt make sense
