Why not? It is by every metric a 14.7 aircraft. Why’s the J-15T at 14.7, with lesser missiles and arguably worse flight performance? The only things it shares between it and the F-15C GE is having ARH+GNSS missiles, of which the F-15 has more.
Also, BR’s aren’t set purely on 1v1 stats alone. If that were the case, the Rafale would be the only jet at 15.0 right now as nothing would beat it.

Very much competitive. If you can survive the initial volley of missiles + mid game, you’re very likely to last to the end of the game and rack up at least 3 kills
No, you cannot do that in any plane. You couldn’t do this in the 14.7 J-15T, or Eurofighter, or Su-30SM2 for any number of reasons, most of which due to your low CM count. Playing to your aircraft’s strength (in this case… literally just surviving) and not doing what everyone else is (flying high and fast) will always yield better results

by this logic, should the su30-sm2 get put down to 14.3 due to its poor global kd compared to the others? where it sits right above the rest of the 14.3’s? obviously not, so maybe the average k/d isnt reliable in this argument considering that you and me both know there is people who carry a 7kd in the sm2. Let me know if you ever see anyone carry a 7kd in the f15GE
Nope, because major nation players are generally worse than minor nation players. This is generally taken into account when people discuss this stuff.
Now the F-15C GE, which is played by major nation players, can statistically keep up with the likes of the EFT and Rafale flown by minor nation players. That just shows how absolutely stupid the F-15C GE is at 14.3.
you make good points, and i wouldn’t mind to see f15ge at 14.7, but only if the other 14.7’s are considered to be moved to 15.0. I mean there is an obvious disadvantage with the f15ge compared to these other planes, right? engines are weak, cant fire in a notch, doesnt have good close range missiles at all, has no maw, and least of all it has awful flight performance. How would it be fair to have it at the same br of other aircraft that share pretty much none of these struggles? Am i wrong?
Seriously though, we’re long overdue one or a few, at least. I’d imagine a rework of the maps we have now, i.e, making them bigger (Tropical Coast-sized, basically).
Do you happen to know if these changes will be more relevant/significant and comprehensive, such as raising the max Ground BRs, decompressing highly compressed BR ranges, etc? Or will it only be a few changes here and there like the last few times?
