We have data on the speed and altitude the PL-12 achieves 38G but the reports are closed with the same “it’s a midium range missel” response
I also don’t think any of the feedback from the countless threads pointing out the PL-12 being unusable was forwarded to devs?

There’s a publication by the chief designer of the missile that gives information on the speed and altitude the 38G mark was achieved. We also have countless other brochures that state it achieves 38G

we only have the ground launch performance so no idea, also pretty sure people have mentioned that the 9X, IRIST and Python 5 we have in game are all preforming wrong anyway
So the chief designer of the missile might have said that the 38G overload was achieved at this altitude and this speed. However, you see, PL-12 is a middel range missil.
So why can other middel range missil perform at short ranges? god knows
I recall the IRIS-T eating a nerf that brought it down from 60g’s to 50g’s, some complained it was a hate driven report but I’m not sure.

They most likely are considering they are much easier to flare then something like a strela (whatever missile it uses)
Because unlike pili-12 they are also for dogfight. It does not state anywhere that the PL-12 can also be used in dogfights (!)
