Gripens do perfectly fine at 13.7 with 4 AIM-120s
thats irrelevant as its so far changed from it. Regardless F-16A is even better than F-16C in terms of airframe/Flight performance
F-2A is 13.7 with only 4 AAM-4s and does fine
the F-16XL will be a 13.7 aircraft i do reckon, it has absolutely no business being 13.0/13.3

While true, you can also just extend the ACM box to aid with this
I have used it with great effect on the Tornado F.3 and FA.2 to make them more competitive
While not a replacement, it does help

Saying the F-16XL will struggle because it is old, is like saying the J-7E struggles because its a highly modified MiG-21 airframe, which is catagorically false
not by a breathtaking amount, its not like we’re talking about a MICA for in game purposes

It will more than likely be 13.3. It was planned to carry and was tested carrying 4 x AIM-120A and 2 x AIM-9L. We already have the ADF with either 6 x AIM-120A or the same 4 x AIM-120A + 2 x AIM-9L.
The ADF is already at 13.3 with the same loadout so there’s no reason for it to be any higher.
F-2A also has a considerably better radar and 4x AAM-3s instead of 2x 9L
NASA got the second prototype iirc, not a newly built one. It wouldn’t be armed as used by NASA, but it still got the second seat, enlarged intake and GE engine as regular test aircraft before that so it’s still different from the first.
nasa got the 2nd f16xl it had the M61 and the 17 bomb pylons but didnt carry any AAMs, and it was used for laminar flow tests for the HSCT program

Like, proper night battles, not late evening with heavy cloud cover overhead.
Adding to that, I’m curious to know whether this is planned (not for the very next update, obviously) or not on this passed suggestion.
Would be a neat QoL addition (at least or especially in Sim) to have, especially when landing on a carrier for example xD.

NASA got the twin seat F-16XL-2. When it was still in testing it was seen with weapons and had F-16A Block 10 avionics as it was modified from that airframe. It’s avionics and weapons were removed when it was delivered to NASA.

For top tier jets, which would you prefer: flares stock, chaff stock or both stock but in reduced quantity, similar to stock ARH/IR loadout?
This has no “official” bearing or anything like that. Purely bored and seeing where everyone’s at.
IMO, I think offering both stock but less than the total amount you’d get (like with stock ARH missiles and 2 IR/IRCCM missiles) would work best, so you’re not completely defenceless in one aspect of battle (IR or Radar).
one is a squadron vic that you can get by being in a squadron and doesn’t have the increase SL or RP boost
yet the only other stealth vehicle ingame is a premium, one of americas best dog fighters is a premium
I could agree for aircraft with good amounts, but if the full amount is 60 or less than they should just be fully stock.

We have the RAH-66 and the F-117 one is a prem and the other is a squadron vic what plane are you talking about cause the F-117 is in no shape or form a dogfighter
F5, it is one of americans best dog fighters, never said nighthawk was a dog fighter, its one of the worst planes ingame
F-5E in TT is better
