It would be an considerable upgrade. We know for sure that it has upgraded composite while now there are also suspicions that it has more composite in the hull and turret.
Agreed.
However the hard pill to swallow for a lot of the community is that there are only really 1-2 top tier MBTs that come truely close to being bad, which are the T-72B3A and Ariete AMV.
Even stuff like the Challenger 2s are decent-solid and people doing bad in them suffer from serious skill issue.
(Inb4 this gets flagged by certain British mains for hurting their egos)

At this point as a mostly high/top tier player I only expect disappointment when it comes to the ground additions each update.
EDIT: Well to be fair, the last 2 updates weren’t bad in terms of new ground vehicles. Just nothing super exciting or super hype.

Demo 1 to be precise
I merely value it as any other tie-breaking factor.
When an amount of tanks have similar firepower and mobility, then it’s armor and survivability what makes the difference.
People claim that the Abrams is so extraordinary because “it has a mobility and a 5 second reload”… as if 90% of the tanks in Top Tier didn’t have mobility and a 5 second reload.
Then what is it that makes the Abrams better than the Leclercs or Ariete AMV, all of which have the same reload and mobility…?
Wouldn’t that be… the armor? Isn’t that what everyone says, and for good reason?

…but, suddenly, when it comes to comparing the Abrams vs T-80BVM or uparmored Leopards, “armor actually doesn’t matter at all”?
These three tanks have virtually the same mobility and firepower. That’s a tie in those aspects of armor did not matter at all like some pretend. The tiebreaker is the armor.

Well their was only 2 demo 1 was basic just a 2a6 with additional armour nothing that fancy demo 2 was all that and a new powerpack the Europowerpack alongside a new apu atleast thoses are the main differences oh and demo 2 was used for the leopard 2 PSO just something cool to add (:

Hopefully there is a bit of a shakeup of the top tier MBT meta in general and not just 1 or 2 new Leos.
Top tier MBT meta has become pretty stale. The 2A7s/122s have been leading the pack for 2 years now and the overall MBT rankings have barely changed in those 2 years as well.

My friend that’ll never happen lmao leopard 2s will pretty much always be the most meta especially when we start talking about modern stuff like 2a8s with dm83 (what can pen Relikt)
That’s not changing anytime soon lol like I said I don’t think they’ll be a point where leopard won’t be the best they are the perfect mix of mobility firepower and armour
The abrams is extraordinary because it has incredible mobility and firepower while still having good enough armor and survivability.
Armor and survivability are only worth anything at top tier when it’s combined with good mobility, good firepower or both. This is why the uparmored Leo 2s are better than the Abrams while the T-80BVM and especially the T-90M are easily worse than the Abrams.
It’s the whole skill ceiling vs skill floor argument. I have close to a 3 K/D in my M1A2T, something I could never even dream to replicate in a T-80BVM or T-90M.
Exactly, therefore armor and survivability DO matter.
I merely want all nations, including the U.S, to finally have true Leopard 2A7/Strv 122 counterparts (including Germany, which had only 1 vs Sweden’s 3), I don’t understand why it’s somehow an issue.
