i have my black night maxed out who do you think i am, its 31 in game but 9s would make it 40 like the leopard and abrams but if theres not enough to back it up by gaijins standards then theres no point

you underestimate the land rover power, also the challenger could have ended that in the first half minute
I can’t recall the exact reason now, but the current speed is likely correct. I want to say it can do 9 seconds if the barrel is locked or something, but I just don’t recall. But here is a passage from Haynes, which is usually a fairly good secondary sources
In any case, it was something looked into like 2-3 years ago and I think everyone moved onto other issues.
Like the mobility, armour, shell performance, ready rack size, crew position, spall liners, literal holes in the frame. etc etc
its an interesting thing to look at for me because most sources state full rotation in 9s and also one of the upgrades it was meant to have over the challenger 1 was better gun handling so for it to have the same horizontal traverse and a worse vertical traverse as the cr1 just confuses me but eh who cares
I want to say that this was something challenged, but I cant recall if it went anywhere
i have got no clue but i would highly doubt the vertical traverse would be worse than the cr1

either way i hope the chally gets some love this update i want a better ready rack, also i somehow only just found out the challenger beat the leopard and abrams in iron spear 2023 which has boosted my opinion on it even more
I just hope CR1 and 2s get fixed ready racks. I’m largely avoiding top tier at the moment. So buffs to the 10.3 lineup would be nice. (Throw Ajax fixes in there too and LMM for the HVM)
But I’m mostly hoping for air fixes and additions (mechanics and gameplay)
“AI” just regurgitates the most common version of events not the correct version of events. Note that it’s using this hell hole as a source for the 9s claim.
If Gaijin actually gives it its Trophy, it’d be a decent upgrade protection-wise, even if they somehow neglect its proper improved armor.
If the comparison is against an Ariete/Merkava, then sure most of the modern MBT series are among the best in the game, but it’s not like the Abrams in particular is invincible or even meta-defining by its own merit. It is strictly close to the best but, at the same time, is incapable to be a front laner like 2A7s-122s/T-80BVM/T-90Ms can
That along the fact a team of 16, consisting of 10 Abrams literally can’t play all as flankers (as this whole forum expects the tank to be played by its advantage in mobility), someone has to hold lanes where the hull is more than vulnerable.
So there you have it, teams with obvious strategic and functional flaws that already define a game’s outcome in advance.

3: Challenger 1 ready rack
4: Challenger 1 TOGS II access (i belive it has it)
5: Cheiftain ROF
6: M61 APHE for low tier
7: actual meaningful armour on the TES/OES
8: Ajax spall liners
9: Cheiftain MK10 engine buff
10: Cheiftain MK10/11 getting access to TOGS 1
11: Correct ready rack for the Vickers MK7
12: L15A2 (PF) for the AS90
13: fix conquerer apds damage (pls)
if i get one of these things in the next year ill be happy

Both ready rack fixes alone would help tons on their places in the meta.
if the cr2 got its ready rack fixed the black night would be a menace at long range

I hope that Gaijin has finally realized that many players still want WW2 and early Cold War era vehicles. I really hope they give us the best version of the Ho-Ri for example.
I and several others worked hard to bring this to fruition, so read carefully please!
