T 80 U was trialed by Sweden, trialed vehicles are considered valid additions if necersary. Finland did not trial the 40mm Patria, it never even entered Finland. It was built, trialed, and demonstrated by the UK, and then marketed to some middle eastern customers, with no interest.

I can’t claim every member of the LAV family that never went into service for Canada, because even if General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada built them. Other nations, like the US, had tested them. It’s not special rules for the UK, it’s part of the suggestion rules for the forums.
Idk before the confirmation of the AU likely going to Britain they got the Bark because they wanted it.
And it’s very likely the UK will get every top tier nations main vehicle, idk about you but I’d say it’s pretty biased towards the UK in a lot of areas.

The UK got the F-111C as a replacement for the F-111K (the British variant of the Aardvark), which was the variant wanted by them. As Gaijin deemed it better to add a service vehicle over an incomplete vehicle.
Then good news. 9/10 British player DON’T want non-UK oporated vehclies.
Because those asking for non-UK operated vehicles are the people from those nations.

Honestly I don’t think who it’s made by should be seen as more important than who it’s made for. K2NO was made for Norway, so that’s where it should go because that’s where it would’ve gone if it progressed further.
In the case of the Patria 40mm AMV I’d say if it’s made for the UK, then it should go there, but if it was only a general export product (not specific for the UK) then Finland is still the right place.
Then again Gaijin themselves don’t really make that distinction considering we get stuff like the Oplot-M for Pakistan, Mi-28 for Sweden and more.

I have no interest in arguing made for here because anything and everything suggested for Sweden is met with backlash on nearly every post.
It’s simply easier to say no trial stuff or failed exports
Otherwise the UK gets like 70 vehicles from AU that were tried for stuff like Redback and failed
Same deal for Sweden they have a unique prototype Leclerc and had plans for it but it should go to France. Sweden also doesn’t need a trialed abrams
This only applies to one nation who currently has the primary selection available to give them every other nations vehicles.
Hell we can’t even suggest having the CV90120 because we have brits who want the CV90s in general on the UK because of BAE
