Once nations get a subtree, they should have all vehicles represented by that subtree in THEIR home tree. Even if it is “copy paste” of an existing vehicle that would be considered “exlusive”. Digital scarcity is dumb, just add the vehicles as GE premium if gaijin still wants to make coin on certain things.
This should be in the British tree for South Africa once it was announced as a subtree. This one is one of many examples

I’d love for it to be the Mk 2 but… Even if it is WT possable, as it suggestable at least I have a feeling we’d only get the Mk 1. So the better CF-105 would only be a dream, eh, TT one in the UK is already pushing it for a Canadian vehicle going by the trends.

Hey man ive got awful news, i recently was given many CF 105 documents and the bad news is that it used the GAR 1A and GAR 1C missiles

small problem is that not one of these missiles was ever serviced or do i have documents to give their performance
so unfortunately it will be kinda mid, even at a low br
Theres a weird bug with the falcons that they are just incapable of tracking a target anywhat accurately to the point they miss a B52 that is not doing anything to stop it, no turns or countermeasures

Yeah, that one I 100% support. Moving them completely like this would just change the event in such a significant way that it doesn’t seem fair anymore, for the same reason that ahistorical vehicles are hidden and not removed.
Anyways as long as future cases like the Merkava Mk.1 aren’t ruled out I’m happy.
I don’t think anyone is asking for them to be moved but to make a copy like you did with the Merkavas that’s all people want

well i wouldnt expect it then because the f16 platform has theoretical capbility of 8 missiles but not specifically the pobit and im guessing i wouldnt be able to source something from a block 72 for a block 52 even though the main airframe remains mostly unchanged
Nobody is asking for them to be moved we just want a copy of the vehicle on its home nation. The old event should be unique being able to be used with the old nation but locking it permanently to one nation is silly.

It’s a 1950s project; I doubt it has the later missiles in the first place. To be honest, I’d never expected it to be good on the weapons side (I had had to be talked up to making it 10.X, I’d thought it was a 9.X at most)
I just hope it gets all the A2A missiles (and a bit of hope for the other one, but that’s unlikely). The Domestic Velvet Glove, the AIM-4 and the joint project Sparrow II. 2x, 8x, 3x, respectively, for missile counts if listed correctly elsewhere.
The AIR-2 would be nice (also on other things that could get it), but there is only one way I see that coming to the game
Yeah, honestly for many of these they just wouldn’t have been event material in the first place had the nation existed at the time.
They’re generally either really significant historically, or very unique (often from few options). This makes sense as event pick when the nation doesn’t exist, since this is the main representation for the nation then, but for the same reason these should be core picks for the actual techtree too.
My favorite example is the Finnish air line, with many unique aircraft locked to the premium section because it just wasn’t a fixed nation at the time. This leads to something like the unique Finnish D.XXI variant being premium, while the less unique pure import, an ideal premium pick, is in the techtree instead.
