Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

I bet itll be next GEN IR missiles as the theme. They are long overdue and the meta has become stale for top tier airRB…

sets the stage for 5th gens for december…

Yak130 please somewhere in the mix

If something has technical compatibility, it is open for developer consideration.

I bet it would be another filler update for air again bit like the last update, because of the Hungarian low tier I’d be surprised if we see another sub nation

Greece is pretty much confirmed. Israel is missing a top tier for air (especially now with the F16I moving to 13.7 to become playable)

Python 4/5 and Greece subtree would put them back on the map. LAVI would be way cooler but that isn’t even 13.0 worthy due to its age / comparability to something like the F16A

nah man its gonna be AIM 4 Falcon theme’d trust
we gonna get the F-101, CF-105, J35F2 and what not
pretty wizard imo

So possible a Triple AGM-65 Pylon on the F-4F/F-4F ICE?

Actually peak. A cold war jet update

so on technicality could the pobit recieve 8 missiles as the f16 can theoretically carry it

They’ll make you pay for another Draken but without the Falcons

So in the case of being the same type of event exclusive rewards and given Finland has nothing that can replace the KV-1 at 4.3 does Sweden just get screwed in this regard?

Seems like a personal bias to just ignore that they don’t have anything that can fulfill the role at 4.3 without over tiering an entire lineup to especially with how 3.7 got nuked so uptiers are basically more common than ever on Sweden.

Tbf Sweden wasn’t the only nation to lose their 3.7 lineup

would be pretty nice to have more jets in the 50s-60s era added. like subsonics but more than capable at fighting even early supersonics like the Mig 19, the F-100 or the Gloster Javelin

In the image, its not clear if the empty rail is a Sidewinder rail or a AGM rail. It will need more solid evidence.

Please consider forwarding the idea that the rule here needs a change. Event exclusivity shouldn’t interfere negatively with other parts of the game, and when it comes to cases like these it very much does.

For example here we see a nation that is intended to have a fixed placement in game, but is still permanently split as one vehicle is exclusive to another part of the game. This just isn’t fair treatment both compared to other nations, and as an isolated case seen on its own.

I understand exclusivity is seen as something that should be kept, and owning some old event vehicles myself I can see that players owning them want to keep their value, but there is a better way.

Add a copy of the vehicle to the nation it belongs to, this can be techtree or premium depending on gameplay needs and/or historical background. The old event vehicle stays, keeping the unique lineup option, while the operator nation gets the vehicle in its rightful place. It could also be a good option to provide a unique cosmetic option for the old event, which adds to the value again.

Now I’m not saying all vehicles should be carried over immediately, that’s just not realistic. But I am saying that as a long term idea there should be nothing stopping this from happening.

Peoples views and feedback have been made very clear already. Its part of the reason why the Merkava 1 was introduced to Israel.

There however wont be a case of a “moved” vehicle. Any vehicle obtained in X tree will always remain in X tree.

New vehicles may be introduced into Y tree, as has happened. But owned vehicles themselves wont transfer to a new nation.

Its a Sidewinder rail, the pics are just there to prove it carried Later AGMs again as there was no AGM support before 1980 Upgrade

Sorry for the ping again but given your prior comment, Finland and Sweden in general doesn’t have a equivalent vehicle to fill the 4.3 hole that the KV filled and the KV-1A at 4.7 is not an equivalent exchange so why can’t they get something to fill that hole?

Then sadly there is no evidence of technical compatibility with a AGM triple rack.

So are you saying that all of this could change the devs minds? Cause tbf it seems like more people would like the same treatment as the Israeli Merkava.

It doesn’t take away from the old nations either because that vehicle is unique because it’s on their TT. It’s unique still because it has that other nations lineup to play with still.

Alright I’ll take my leave

Its more than possible that future vehicles will be added to fill gaps in any tree. However at this time, there are no plans to speak of regarding the event KV-1B. As we have already answered numerous times now.

If that changes, then we would clarify as such.
