Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

well it has been that way since the addition of the challenger 3

@Smin1080p_WT Hello! May I ask if there are any plans for the aerodynamic modification kits of the European Typhoon fighter jet?
Eurofighter (AESA) missing it’s aerodynamic modification kit // Gaijin.net // Issues

The worst part is that there WAS a brief period of time where the turret was modelled correctly; but they reverted it to this mess shortly afterwards and NEVER again looked back despite the countless reports, which proves that they. Do. Not. Care.

It’s more important to add 500 jets instead.

Look; a picture from back when it was correctly modelled:

@Smin1080p_WT , the correct model exists somewhere, it was like this some time ago… what even happened here, if I may ask? It’s been over 2 years ever since this, it’s hard to grasp that such oversight has gone unnoticed somehow.

isnt the challenger 3 damage model currently the exact same as the challenger 2s which is honestly mind blowing how thats stayed like that for what 2 years now since it released?

at this rate were gonna need an entire update purely focused on fixing the challengers

Not even that. Challenger 3’s damage model is the OLD Challenger 2 model, not even the reworked one.

It’s noth incorrect and obsolete even for the incorrect standards.

@Smin1080p_WT Any news on the Centauro II reload?

how have they let this sit for 2 years??? it just shows gaijins laziness on modelling stuff

this is gonna turn into a challenger roundup again but @Smin1080p_WT regarding the challenger 3s damage model (the old challenger 2 damage model) is the fixed model not still sitting there somewhere able to be very easily implemented

This, the lower plate spall liners still missing despite the CLEAR photographical evidence after years…

As I said, they. Do. Not. Care.

Sorry for my bitterness, but after so many years, I believe it’s quite warranted.

smin explained this one to me after my constant annoyance saying they need time to schedule 3d modelling or something but i still do not buy it after 2 years of waiting on them to implement something they have photographical evidence of

What if, instead of getting some more top tier stuff, we finally start getting the last zero variants?
A6M7 and A6M8 respectively. As an extra compensation for the neglect in the past.

Apparently it takes more 3D modelling time to model a literal rectangle than it does to implement the 74 top tier jets they’ve added since this was reported.

lol.

ironical because some hours ago i got my comment flagged while saying they outright lie to you when they say CR2 got modeled with effort…after so much time bitterness is the only thing you can feel about it…

I doubt it this soon, but would be a good addition if/when 5th gens are added to keep the 4.5s truly in the fight

74 top tier tanks and the amount of new tanks new damage models and modules etc etc and the challenger 3 still looks like a low effort thing by a 5 year old and even the challenger 2s to an extent

Honestly, they should just delete the Challenger 2 LEP and just add an actual Challenger 3 at this point.

I am not a War Thunder hater, quite the contrary; I really love, and would like to love it…

My bitterness comes, precisely, from the frustration of feeling like War Thunder is treated like garbage by those who are suppossed to make of it something great.

No, no, not 74 tanks; 74 jets!

They’ve only added 12 tanks in the same timeframe of 2 years lmao.

Air has had the uncontested spotlight ever since Ground’s “Rank VIII” release.
