So why does the AGM-88 just go stupid after the radar turns off? It should guide to the last known radar location using iog. The cep drops. but it should still be accurate enough to destroy light skinned vehicles like OSA.
Does anything match their specifications?
I’m sure the lock range of some AGMs are incorrect as well (on top of a lot of other things…)
iirc, isnt IOG an upgrade of one of the later variants of the AGM-88 and the one in the Nuclear thunder is AGM-88A?

Afaik, it was part of the inital HARM program requirements. It should get GPS to help guidance on later models reducing the CEP of it when it loses radar lock. What should be currently modeled is IOG. So the Cep should increase the further out you are when you lose the radar lock.

Well, im currently looking. It looks like the AGM-88e is the one that added GPS guidance. I’m finding a ton of articles that say it can do it, but nothing primary so far.

The extra pylons are already accounted for though? It’s literally 2x AMRAAM on every station for 12 AMRAAM total
It doesn’t use MRML like F-15C GE does

Yes, it is, but there is marketing material and a literal photo of ALARM on a pylon, Hopefully that is enough for the Typhoon to get them in-game
