im actually quite enjoying the event so im fine grinding out the B52H, the Tu95M just looks a bit mid is all
Ok, now that a few hours passed, I gotta ask… am I the only one who was disappointed by this year’s event? It’s basically just an Ground Attack-centric Enduring Confrontation event.
I know many air players were looking forward to such thing, but… opinions from people who aren’t air mains?
Like… a high tier air-focused event after 10x high tier air-focused updates.
B-52 in the Blue Angels when?
So I tried the event with the F-14 IRIAF (That I, as I said, never really played)
Don’t think I’m going to try and get the bombers from the event, I’m just getting insanely frustrated by basically everything. I don’t have carefull enough handling to prevent constant loss of control, the AIM-9P’s I’m stuck to don’t seem to do anything, even when I manage to sneak behind an enemy, and I apparently cannot aim an aircraft cannon w/o the arcade reticle.
Any way to salvage this or should I consider myself a lost cause?

Clearly you’ve never seen A400Ms at an airshow… These things will casually do barrel rolls just above your head

I mean I despised the ww1 event so I cant really not have a biased view but I think its amazing and should be a permanent mode
Kinda but also a lot more one sided for vehicle rewards

Hey @Smin1080p_WT any reason why the devs chose the Tu-95M and not the MS? At least both bombers would have been represented with their upgraded version.

Just use the tried and trusted tactic of climbing, use your 2 stock AIM-54As from 20-30km away on unaware targets, land and repeat.
The F-14s are incredibly easy to play in this mode.
I like that Gaijin admits they know how broken KH-38MT is because they wont let you use the Su-25SM3 in the event.
currently the B52H seems to be an early model since it doesnt have any of its guided weapons and only dumb bombs

also this may be a somewhat unpopular take but markers should be removed imo. the older SEAD event was incredibly fun without them since it let you get away with some funny stuff.
The B-52H is specifically a pre-1991 variant since it still has the rear gun.

If you look at weapons only, then neither does the TU, but that’s fine considering they are very niche additions, here I was strictly talking about the plane variant.
