How should i interpret this graph? seems like the viggen outclasses the mirage?

your graph shows that the viggen has better flight performance than both of the mirages
You should remember statshark only shows clean loadouts here the Viggen has to carry a CM pod which takes one of the 9L slots, thats 24 CM. If youbtake a gun also thats another 9L slot, then you add those weights and their drag, the Viggen without anything on the pylons is exceptional but with even 2 pylons being used it drags the flight performance through the floor.
Clean loadout yes, if i could id give it my normal air to air loadout but i can’t unfortunately. So statshark only shows clean. The Viggen remember has no internal gun or CMs to weigh it down compared to the JA while having the weaker engine.
Nah top tier can wait a bit, low ranks have been rotting long enough

I mean, personally i wouldnt bother with the gun because i would rather rtb and get more 9ls. And the pod gives 24 large calibre single pop flares with 340 large chaff (i think its large) which is MORE than enough for anything bellow 12.0. One pod plus 3 9ls and 2 9js if u want sounds fine to me.

Yeah you can add the weight but not really the drag (though the drag is almost negligible tbf)
Not even sure the BOZ pod has drag modelled in game as the countermeasure/ecm pod on the mig 21s dont. Other than weight, but even then im not sure.
I mean with how often you just get 12.0 uptiers being stuck with only missiles isn’t great since 1 flare and they shoot off
And the gunpod is definitely unique, same as the SK60 and SAAB 105 which have this unique effect for a 30mm
well it dosnet really matter as the other planes you compare them with should also have some almost added drag
(would be a bit silly to compare a plane on combat load to one that is clean and on min fuel)

Does anyone carry fuel pods on the Mirage 3?
I have to for air RB with the Viggens given their fuel consumption rate, i know im normally good with full fuel on my Mirage for air RB
Looks like adens to me lol. Yeah, 9ls are very easy to flare but at 11.0 you can position yourself to where they are not expecting a missile to be coming their way. Its why i said i use my harrier from alt and fire from 5km or whenever i get a lock. I mean half the time its not a flare that defeats my missile but them firing their own missile at something which does get a little annoying when after burning jets can decoy my 9l from rear aspect with a fucking missile but this is wt, my opinion doesnt matter.
Didnt know the mirage 3s got fuel tanks tbh, and nah i zoom climb to 7.5km min then drop to 102% throttle. I do it on all my thirstier jets and it suits me just fine (do the exact same thing on my mig 29 and drakken).
