I don’t think they are gonna give the non-AESA Typhoons better weapons.
The AESA ones are gonna get the new missiles, the non-AESA ones are gonna stay as they are and Gaijin is gonna add earlier variants as premiums, SQVs and/or event vehicles.
There will most likely be a later variant of each Typhoon at some point though
Something I was thinking about recently was the addition of a toggle/modification that lets you turn your plane into a twin seater if you want, without needing to research and spade a whole other aircraft…
But adding vehicles does allow more of one vehicle in a lineup I guess, so might be good for ground

If you were going for the Super Sukhoi, I’d get it, but the regular Su-30MKI is not 14.7 material lol
Also, I’m fairly sure the MiG-29UPG and K would be better than the MiG-29SMT, so they should realistically be 13.7

I think something like that could work (albeit the devs would need to put work into it) for different blocks.
Instead of having to grind out the same plane but with slight differences you could choose the block and the systems/weapons/BR would be adjusted to what you choose but limit it to the same model. So F-16A/B you would be able to change between Blocks 1->25 and the C/D Blocks 30 → 52.
There’s a lot of weird stuff going on here… why out of all planes would you make the Tejas event? What variant even is it? Why are there two Su-30MKIs? Why is the LUSH Sea Harrier not called LUSH?

Yeah Tejas as an event reward and the FRS.51 as squadron. All domestic/British modified designs go outside of the TT and the Russian bought aircraft + Rafale as the researchable additions.
The 51 is originally just a FRS.1 with magics. Only the upgraded version is 13.0 worthy, and that’s the LUSH upgrade

Can we not normalize locking unique planes behind events please? Also 14.7 would be the lowest version if they add early/late versions, as the early MKI was basically a SM

Just 1 and done with South Africa air. Unless they do decide on the Cheetah, Mirage’s or even the Mwari but chances are like India the C&P will be in the TT but unique designs as premiums / event vehicles.
Will they be adding in Meteor’s, IRIS-T and other capable missiles for Rank 9?
They will in the future but I don’t think those will come along with Rank 9 next update. More likely those missiles will come in the summer update.
They likely are going to be adding AIM-120Ds, AIM-9Xs, R-74s/R-74Ms, R-77Ms (edit: probably not a R-77M, as I just remembered how questionable that one currently is lol, dunno if the R-37M could even be considered a counterpart to the AIM-120D tho) and whatever Chinese missiles that would be equivalent at some point this year, but I don’t think the first update this year will include those
Later on they’ll add the Meteors, IRIS-Ts and the other state-of-the-art missiles
(Or they just go for the best stuff that is being used IRL from the get-go without proper balance lol)
