I mean we are talking about Gaijin here
we have speedboats with the same BR as cruisers, and less than a full BR higher we’re already into capital ships
If we ever get genuine DDGs they’ll likely dump them in the 5.0-6.3 bracket and call it a day
It feels like BR placement is struggling across every Tech Tree right now, not just naval.
The inconsistencies are becoming more noticeable with each update, and it’s starting to affect the overall balance of the game. It might be worth the developers taking a step back and really tightening up the BR system before introducing any more content.
The problem with enlisted is the grind, tons of players complain about it and nothing is being done. That’s why most people switch to games like battlefield.
@Smin1080p_WT Since the J30 has been a hot topic recently could I ask if we might see the Israelis serviced Mossies soon as that would give Israel some nice CAS at that BR and could provide gaijin to let Israel to go down to rank III at least ?
But yeah it’s just kinda frustrating how we got the RAF, Norsk and now the Swedish one but no sign of the ones fielded by Israel.
I hope not, The Mossies were a big help to the Israeli air force and had quite a few of them as pictured above plus as I said in the post above this could give gaijin an option for them to go down to rank III.
Especially with their subs nations being thought about too.
Definitely not gonna happen soon. J30 has the big nose radar if they add a TT version soon the J30 loses value and the snail would become homeless. Think of the poor snail
Without the radar, it was removed. Some got the AN/APS-4 “ASH” sea radar found on that Norwegian mossie ingame. Good engines tho ofc, 4.0 worthy I bet.
Should be 4x 20mms yeah. Two issue for adding it, one is that the Israelis used the ASH radar as a makeshift air search radar, but ingame when I tried it on the mossie it couldn’t spot anything other than ships, they’d need to change that (fun act, an Israeli B-17 switched out the front turret for that radar). The other issue is the AN/APS-4 required a change to the nosecone to which is was extended in a thin way:
It was documented that this caused from with the intakes and cooling, meaning if modeled correctly the engines should overheat a lot more easily.
For the Israelis I don’t believe so. For mossies in general I couldn’t say since I’m no mossie nerd, my information is limited to the IAF configurations and their base versions.
Yeah as I say they got a number of them and they would be a fine addition to help them out since they currently lack a heavy fighter and a CAS platform too.
We need Rank II-III for ground and air so bad man. So much potential with so many options, yet ground is still limited to a 6.3 reserve vehicle and a 4.3 lowest BR vehicle. They’d be great CAS platforms yeah, if there were lineups to use them for that with… but gaijin be gaijin and we don’t really have any. Actually now that I think about it, I wonder if there’s any technical limitations that’s stopping them from finally doing it, like adding those earlier un-present ranks and removing the reserve status from the Sakeen and base M-51
