shame the brimstone launcher isnt operative
Its not a secret at all. Just a few posts above, you would have the direct clarifaction:
“There is no need to pass two almost identical suggestions in the same month. The German suggestion being passed is not some magical barrier that blocks all knowledge of the existence of the British one.”
The nation of which something is suggested (and passed on as a suggestion) is not signficant.
- Something being suggested and passed does not mean it would come to the game anyway
- The nation from which it was suggested and passed does not mean it is limited to just that nation anyway.
Im still quite salty about the Royal Sovereign (just like many Royal Navy fans are) I do hope gaijin doesnt have a ground vehicles RS fiasco too. ill leave it at that
Doesn’t that make it less important to be passed to the devs?
If suggestions are meant to bring player ideas forward to the devs, then the devs would already know about something as popular as the F-35 and have in their plans.
Wouldn’t more obscure options have a higher importance here?
@someweirdname was referring to how the passed to dev post and the new years deal is generally the only insights we get other than the leaklists.
Gaijin is a brick wall to players
Not at all. Otherwise it invalidates basically 80-90% of all suggestions.
vehicle suggestions are just cermonial. they even passed J35J which had literally been in the game files for a long time so the devs know damn well about it.
Hello @Smin1080p_WT
I have a question I’m curious about, there’s been some talks about next-gen missiles coming this year potentially.
What is currently planned to come first, next-gen IR missiles or next-gen radar missiles?
things like F-35 are a given to come within the next year or so. just like leopard 2a8 and m1e3 abrams will almost certainly appear soon
I do think passed to devs should be more for the obscure stuff.
That’s not the case at all. We have the CM disclosures news updates regularly and I and my collueges are here answering things in this very topic and others daily.
Literally just having answered your original question about why was X passed and the reasons behind that. So its not clear at all what they are referring too.
Any news on the significant development of weapon technology in game would be saved for a more official post like a CM disclosures or dev blog. Not a post here.
some one said F14D where???
How does it matter who made it?
The point is both weren’t intended as prototypes for future service aircraft, but instead as testbeds for current/future research. The “provisions for armament” cited on the Su-47, like provisions for hardpoints, were on the EAP as well. But neither of them was actually armed.
Now if there was intended armed versions, like the Yak-141, they’d be unfinished prototypes and it’d make sense. But so long as that isn’t the case they are unfortunately both just unarmed demonstrators.
@Smin1080p_WT if i may ask, is there any news on the next CM disclosures soon at all? just wondering
As we are only just a few weeks after the last major and the holidays still ongoing, we are a way off currently.
with the next major update only dropping in several months (usually march or April) we expect Gaijin to be on the rest phase of the year which would make it more likely that theres not going to be a lot coming until then
i just hope, if it comes to it, gajins gonna do the sensible thing and add it to both nations.
Its history of being developed for germany in the competition as the next main caliber cannon in the mgcs, together with it being developed/ produced/ tested in germany and never having set foot on british soil. Would read very weirdly in a british only Devblog.
The LAV-25 is borderline a poster child for the USMC. I’m confused on how you guys determine what is in demand or “iconic” because we have yet to get things like the TOW HMMWV, or LAV-25, which are easily some of the most identifiable vehicles ever.
A lot of different ways on many platforms and mediums. Its not just the forum, but the community as a whole. We follow discussions, videos and topics everywhere :)
sadly dev blogs cant realy be trusted at this point anymore either
