No it’s not time because they don’t exist until proved otherwise. If a jet not having a gazillion missiles makes it unviable, maybe, just maybe, the problem is not the plane but the game design and overall balance?

Ground and air suggestions alternates every month. Next month there will be a US and British aircraft passed to devs but no ground vehicles, while Germany and USSR will get ground vehicles but no air.
Because there are no plans for any German aircraft to have ECRS Mk 2. They have selected ECRS Mk 1.
Not only is it not planned, but Germany has already made their decision to go with the ECRS Mk 1. Both the Mk 1 and Mk 2 are being developed in separate ways by different companies. Whilst they have some commonality under the CAPTOR-E program, they are essentially becoming different radars.
- ECRS Mk 2 is being completed by Leonardo and BAE systems.
- ECRS Mk 1 is being handled by Hensoldt/Indra.
In the case of the IRST, they haven’t chosen a replacement or alternative. But have simply chosen not to have it due to cost saving on their current fleet. However future Eurofighter EKs have been shown with it, indicating there is still also a possibility Germany will have it on their later Tranches or EK models too. However the IRST is something that’s possible to retrospectively add, which you cant do with the ECRS Mk 2 if you have the ECRS Mk 1 selected ordered and fitted already.
If in the future, Germany changes their minds and decides to upgrade the ECRS Mk 1 or switch to the 2, then that would be something for possible consideration.
Right now, they are going ahead with the Mk 1.

Its pretty much an entirely separate matter.
As of currently, there isn’t even a proposal for any German Eurofighter to take ECRS Mk 2. Again, they have already selected and proceeding with the ECRS Mk 1.

ECRS Mk 0 is the Leonardo UK development for the Kuwaiti and Qatari EFTs. Germany has gone for the Mk 1.
