CAPTOR is not the only radar in game without this mode. This is also the last remaining report open on CAPTOR. So your original claim that its somehow entirely incorrect and a million miles from where it should be is not correct im afraid.
Well, here’s hoping for AESA this decemeber then.
Maybe then we can have a radar that can keep track of a single contact in TWS.
(And the last few times ive tried to play the Typhoon, I had contacts bouncing all over the place, by 100s of metres)

That’s sort of not the same stuff, a slow, easy to intercept designated antiship missile does not equate sth of storm shadow level. Not even close. At that point, what’s the difference if tomahawk is added?
Storm Shadow really wouldn’t be anything special, it can’t track moving targets so would just be a super long-range 1,000 lb GPS guided bomb.

The tint was added last update but only when viewing the HUD at side angles.

Yeah, but between the stale and terrible state of SB at the moemnt and the fact that Rafales and Su-30s find you instantly and im lucky if I get a single radar ping on someone let alone actually get a good enough track to fire back in time… Perticularly as im firing back with weaker missiles than both.
I just cant be bothered. And thats ontop of all the HUD and Cockpit issues that just get irritating. LIke seriously, an entire year to un-squish the HUD, really gaijin?

No, the HUD is litereally squished. UI elements that should be perfect circles are noticably oval and a lot of the text looks… kinda wierd
Was fine, then they broke it, and then broke it again, and have only just managed to fix the second breaking of the HUD, but have yet to get it back to what it was like on the dev server

The Kh-59M(E) is a land attack cruise missile, the MK would be the anti ship missile.
Based on Gaijins implementation of sea skimming missiles the Storm Shadow would be extremely easy to intercept as well.
There is an internal report still open on the remaining issues with the HUD tint.

Typhoon should have the best or joint best HMD in game. And it can be even better
Radar hurts Typhoon and the Captor losing track and not seeing things has been a huge problem from day one and has only marginally improved.
I know it’s a gripe but the Typhoon really should be better than it is, we have a DASS system that won’t even flare an IR stinger…And we have neutered Brimstones and CAS options (Germany just received the HOSBO)
We have watched for months Rafale keep receiving buffs while Typhoon and many other aircraft are missing key features.
The Typhoon is the best jet Europe has ever produced and it’s planned upgrades will take it to the next level. But in game you don’t feel that you feel vulnerable and weak, you don’t feel confident taking on any other top tier jet and as the other jets get improved later variants this gap will only increase.
Hopefully Typhoon comes with an AESA in the next major update and some much needed reworks.

I mean, those are just glide bombs, but since Gaijin loves giving other nations weapons based on “capabilities” (JAGMs for nations that dont have them, Brimstones on the Tornado SLE and the Typhoons), they should give the other end-of-the-line Tornados access to HOSBOs as well
GBU-39s too.
Would be fun on the GR4 in SB with GBU-39s
