Why’s china on there? All our notable additions the past year was a questionable SPAA, a C&P J-11 with different engines and the VT5 and the Z-10ME but that was mid AF until last patch

Finally, a proper target for the BUK.

There are more nimble helicopters with 8x Hellfires at 10.7 (Mokopa have similar range)

Of course, you’re right. Japanese basic bombers (e.g., Ki-48, G3M, G4M2, G4M2a, G4M3, Ki-21-II Otsu) and ground attack aircraft (Ki-30, Ki-36, Ki-51, Ki-71, T-1A, T-1B, T-33A, XT-4) are missing.

10km range is pretty rare among non-FnF ATGMs for Helis

If you are using the ZT-6 from 10km how is your experience? (90% of targets you have fired on will be dead by the time your missile arrives)

As we said previously (when this came up about privately owned Hunter F.58s in the UK), we dont plan aircraft from private companies / ownership right now like many you are describing. Some often have their guns removed and replaced with equipment to simulate gun hits or other training equipment. Plus it adds many complications and questions over where the line is drawn. So for now, nothing planned like that.

The can of worms that’d open, it’s for the best.

I haven’t used the Rooivalk in GRB since the addition of the new SAMs, but before then I could reliably hit targets at almost max range.

If you just launch one missile and then wait for it to hit, you’ll usually end up wasting a lot of time and ordnance, since as you said, the target might end up being dead already when the missile is already too close to go for another target.

You have to keep in mind that there are less capable Helis at 11.0-11.7.

The max range of that kind of weapon pretty much is the effective range. Ground targets usually aren’t fast enough to cause your missiles to waste energy.
